He came right away after our first phone call and walked us through the process since this is our first time having these major damage in our house. He is very easy to deal with and adjust his schedule even on the weekend to get things done right away.. MVR recently performed work on my house that was in desperate need of repairs from roof leaks. Hector was very communicative, explained the process thoroughly, took all my needs into account, and delivered a perfect experience. As it always seems to be the case, we needed this work performed on a tight budget and delivered yesterday. All I can say is that Hector and his team delivered, above and beyond. His team was very clean and friendly. They showed up on time, were very polite, and always performed the work quickly. They were so efficient, they were gone early most days. They finished days ahead of schedule. We have a 1 year old and part of the work was in our baby's room. My five year old flushed a plastic cup down our upstairs toilet, resulting in a painfully long and costly process of water damage to that bathroom and a quarter of my garage's ceiling. After demolition and cleaning of the affected areas, Hector and his team not only jumped right in and made the restorations to get us back to normal, they made some improvements (especially in the garage) that strengthened weaker areas in the original design. In the bathroom, we had run out of extra tile from the previous installation (the former owners of the house left us a few tiles), but MVR found an almost identical style that matched the rest of the floor and made it look like nothing had ever happened. Beyond the repair job itself, Hector was extremely kind, a great advocate on my behalf in working with my insurance, and so understanding and flexible with my situation. He kept in touch via text (which is the best way to reach me these days), which was really helpful. Hector and his team came in as a referral from the company that did the dry-out when we had a leak behind our sink. Most Valuable Restoration did the repairs and reassembled the wainscoting and installed a new vanity, fixed grout in the bathroom. Hector is really professional and honest. He gave me very realistic expectations and did not compromise his integrity or his quality of work when I mentioned I wanted to repair the plaster wall with a plaster guy. He let me know that plaster was not their specialty and that he would gladly help me try and get reimbursed from insurance for the plaster but I'd need to find the plaster guy. Turns out I should have accepted Hector's advice and let his guys do dry wall and try to do a similar texture. He knew his limits, but our plaster guy was not honest and gave me unrealistic expectations. It just really highlighted the honesty of Most Valuable Restoration and the standard they maintain. The guys were super respectful of my family and my 96 year-old home. My son was under a year old so they were concerned with noise and dust/fumes so they kept me informed if I needed to take baby out for a few hours.
