To add insult to injury, he accused me of being a perfectionist. His new prescription was off slightly in one eye and it was slightly blurry from that eye of the frame. It was an annoying experience so I went back to him not once but twice and he just sneered at me in a condescending way each time and refused to fix the problem. I ended up going to Eyetique in Wilkins Township and they fixed the issue quickly. Don't see this guy. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

On one incident that I know of for sure, my eyesight had worsened just the slightest bit, but it didn't really warrant a new prescription. I feel very comfortable in Dr. Budd's office and I feel it's a more personable place to go than a commercial outlet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The selection of eye ware is nice and current and the prices are fair as well. I will continue to see Dr. Budd for all my eye care needs.

It was easy to make an appointment and they took their time to make sure all the information they needed to make my appointment go smoothly was entered prior to my visit. When I arrived for my appointment, I was promptly and warmly greeted. They took the time to walk me through what my experience was going to be like and they even offered to fix the pair of glasses that I had with me! (they asked to bring a current pair of glasses). That alone was great because the place I originally purchased them from wouldn't even touch them and sent me to an eyeglass repair shop. The exam process was smooth and efficient and I left with my prescription and advice on what type of frames would work best for my particular prescription. They have a nice selection of frames and are able to tell you the amount that will be covered by your insurance (if you are going to use it) so it is easier to plan your budget. My glasses arrived about a week later, and when I picked them up they took the time to make sure they fit appropriately and that I was satisfied with how they fit and looked. I was really pleased with my experience and would come here again next time I need glasses.

I feel like they are super expensive compared to any other eye doctor I've ever went to. Also, the service staff is extremely rude. Once I was late for an appointment, which is unbelievable since they constantly text, email, and call. Upon my arrival, explained that I was 10 minutes late and that I understood if they couldn't take me and if I had to reschedule I could. One of the girls working at the desk, did not realize that I was there and started talking about the customer who's never answers the phone and just happened to not show up and then she went on and on about how she knew this would happen because this patient doesn't answer the phone. Evidently it was me she was talking about, and even if it wasn't, it was extremely rude for this staff member to be talking so negatively about another patient in front of an audience. Another time I picked up my daughter's trial contact lenses and they told me if they didn't work she would need to come back in and schedule an appointment with the doctor. My daughter is 18 and she's been wearing contact lenses since the fifth grade. I asked them why she would have to see the doctor again. Why couldn't we just try a different type of contact lens? Once again, the service staff was rude and told me that a doctor would be needed to be seen and I just think that is ridiculous. My daughter is 3 1/2 hours away at college. She is not coming home to see an eye doctor and prolong getting contact lenses just because the weekly trial she's trying on aren't liked. she can just go back to monthly. It's just ridiculous and I feel like there's all kinds of fees that I've never experienced with other eye doctors. When they called to confirm my appointment today and I told them what my insurance was the girl on the other line very rudely commented "Oh". I was never aware that VSP was that bad of an eye insurance. I told the girl to just cancel my appointment. it's also so ridiculous that they call and call and call. They leave a message but they want to physically speak with you to confirm your appointment. Some people have job jobs and some people have things that they have to do and they can't keep their phone on all day. I wouldn't even mind the overpriced Spence because Indo like the doctors, but it would be so worth it to leave just to avoid the aggressive rudeness of the staff that works there.

A simple name but it really does fit for the team in Murrysville!!…read more I have been going to Dr. Randy Cakanac for 10 years now and his team feels like family now. The office is conveniently located right on 22 in a small two office building, so there is always ample parking. They keep the office modern with consistent updates... and the best part is that they continue to invest in new technology too! With the latest in imaging technology and tools, your eye health is diagnosed and tracked with the latest to market equipment. The retinal imaging has been a major impact for me, as I do have some concerns that now can be tracked with images instead of just a doctors notes. When traditionally dilated, the doctor writes down what they see. Now, there are detailed images of my eyes that the doctor and I can scroll through to see each image and wha changes on a minute detail level. The entire team is so kind and comforting. From getting checked in, to doing screening, to even buying contacts/glasses, they are all a joy to work with and somehow remember details about you year to year... like a family would! This year, they even gave me a call to move my yearly appointment up as schedules had opened and it better fit my annual allotment for insurance. Pretty cool... that they take a look and help out customers like that. I'd highly recommend going to Dr. Randy and the team at Your Family Eye Doctors - Murrysville.
