And the posted prices can be misleading because the listed price is for the most very basic of lenses. They were way off on positioning with a pair of my glasses so they had to be sent back to remake. The staff at the counter told me "it happens all the time, it could be the factory but it could be we mismarked you" so not exactly something that gives me confidence in their abilities... They also don't help at all with glasses previously purchased here. I had an arm of a pair that was loose and they wrote down the name and phone number of a repair place. When I went to a different eyeglass store for my next pair, that place made the quick repair for me even though they weren't purchased there!

Of course I didnt buy it-I am 74 years old and never had a problem with eyeglasses in my entire life. They accused me of cleaning with a harsh chemical, which is just not true. All I ever used was a clean microfiber cloth and for classes and Zyliss. This is unacceptable. Do not get cheated as I have. Go elsewhere, where they stand behind defective products. No wonder this store is only rated 2 out of 5! I wish I'd looked on YELP before I ordered them. What a rip-off!

Though I haven't always had the same eye doctor, it seems the caliber of doctors there never wavers. Doctors' offices and medical settings make me a bit anxious in general, but the staff there is always kind and comforting--probably without them even realizing how helpful that is. This past visit, Dr. Taddie discovered an issue with my eye that warrants more than just the standard eyeglass prescription. I'm super scared and waiting to get to a specialist this week, but I must say, the doctor has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, to easy my worries a bit and to find a specialist that takes my health insurance. The level of care and concern I have received absolutely exceeds my expectations, which is rare these days. I want to also add that I do not have eye insurance. For those without insurance, being a AAA member gives you 30% off. This helps a lot! Still, I usually order glasses online these days. Though I was hesitant to do so at first, I take the glasses I buy online to be adjusted at LensCrafters. They are always kind and never make me feel like a bother. Not even the slightest attitude. I appreciate their help and understanding so much. I would highly recommend LensCrafters to anyone.

There is a large collection of glasses available. Today, I just needed my glasses fixed. I visited 3 other shops (Oakmont, Lens Crafters, and America's Best) the day before I cam back to Verona Eye Care. None of them could fix my glasses, and some even said my glasses were mangled and beyond fixable. They said there was a part missing at the top of my glasses. I was expecting the fixing process to take days, but the receptionist (receptionist! Not the doctor) fixed my glasses within a minute. She was very friendly and all around great. She even did this fix for free! I've had these glasses for years, they are sturdy, and I definitely trust Verona Eye Care to provide high quality glasses at reasonable prices and with great service. The optometrist is efficient. They are closed on Sundays unfortunately. My mother had an iffy experience here once where they recommended she go to Oakmont Eye Care instead (could have been the language barrier). But, this is definitely my go to optometrist. Quick, efficient, friendly, experienced, good with kids. I'll come back for glasses and a checkup anytime I need it.

It was easy to make an appointment and they took their time to make sure all the information they needed to make my appointment go smoothly was entered prior to my visit. When I arrived for my appointment, I was promptly and warmly greeted. They took the time to walk me through what my experience was going to be like and they even offered to fix the pair of glasses that I had with me! (they asked to bring a current pair of glasses). That alone was great because the place I originally purchased them from wouldn't even touch them and sent me to an eyeglass repair shop. The exam process was smooth and efficient and I left with my prescription and advice on what type of frames would work best for my particular prescription. They have a nice selection of frames and are able to tell you the amount that will be covered by your insurance (if you are going to use it) so it is easier to plan your budget. My glasses arrived about a week later, and when I picked them up they took the time to make sure they fit appropriately and that I was satisfied with how they fit and looked. I was really pleased with my experience and would come here again next time I need glasses.
