I've been going to LensCrafters for probably over 10 years now. I've been going to this office for maybe half of that time (due to a move). Though I haven't always had the same eye doctor, it seems the caliber of doctors there never wavers. Doctors' offices and medical settings make me a bit anxious in general, but the staff there is always kind and comforting--probably without them even realizing how helpful that is. This past visit, Dr. Taddie discovered an issue with my eye that warrants more than just the standard eyeglass prescription. I'm super scared and waiting to get to a specialist this week, but I must say, the doctor has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, to easy my worries a bit and to find a specialist that takes my health insurance. The level of care and concern I have received absolutely exceeds my expectations, which is rare these days. I want to also add that I do not have eye insurance. For those without insurance, being a AAA member gives you 30% off. This helps a lot! Still, I usually order glasses online these days. Though I was hesitant to do so at first, I take the glasses I buy online to be adjusted at LensCrafters. They are always kind and never make me feel like a bother. Not even the slightest attitude. I have been going here for years and the eye doc is spot on with my script. However the assistants could all use some education. Every year they over charge me and I call insurance who in turn calls them to get me a refund. Then last year the computers were down so they never ordered my glasses, no phone call to follow up, nothing. This year I will go in with a firm stance and tell them what I expect. After all, this is what I am paying for. I would change to a new doctor but plan on relocating soon so what's the point. Also, I am not allowing a trainee to handle my needs this year. If I have to, I will request the manager do it themselves. We will see what the upcoming visit entails later this week. Let's hope it is not like my previous experiences. If it is, I may file a complaint t with the Update So I went here recently for an eye exam and everything was a complete 180 degrees from my previous experience. Prompt service, courteous staff, and service beyond imagination. The staff complaining about certain customers with a customer in plain view could be spared. read more

Staff is really nice and professional. Wait times not to bad. They helped me out after I found out I had insurance and had already paid out of pocket by refunding some money. The turn around time for glasses are great and they got my prescription correct. The reason for three stars which has nothing to do with the staff is the quality of the glasses. The company wants you to pay all these extras for your glasses and if you don't, the glasses do not work correctly. I didn't have to pay extras for my old pair of glasses from a different doctor and they are perfect. The pair I got from America's Best are a waste of money cause they give me blurry vision even though my script did not change, so I can't use them. My husband also had the same problem with glasses from this company, different location. Love the staff though, including the doctors! read more

Horrible experience. I got new glasses, and one lens had a tiny scratch. I went back, and they said they would order a new lens and replace the damaged one when it came in. A few days later, they called, said the new lens was in, so I went to the store. They took my glasses into the back, and a little while later brought them back out and said they had replaced the lens. Except they didn't! They did something to simulate a repair to the part of the lens where they thought the scratch was, thinking I would think they have given me a new lens. But they worked on the wrong part of the lens, so the scratch was still there. They lied, and they committed fraud. read more

Im a new customer. Had to have lenses replaced because there was nothing holding them securely in the frame;lenses kept moving around. Was told lenses were "cut too small" and need to be reordered then can be snapped in during office visit. Then needed new frames because frames were scratched in several places when lenses were replaced. I shouldn't have to run back and forth and shouldn't have to pay for insurance to cover faulty handling/work of technicians. Staff is nice but the whole process is a waste of time!! Also the amount of $$ paid should warrant a better finished product !!! read more

Glasses and sales service was pleasant and staff was mostly VERY friendly. However, the optometrist was double booked and my 12:20 appointment didn't actually happen until after 1:30. read more

All about the sale, not much about the service. Whole family wears glasses and we have never been able to get a single pair of glasses in the time they advertise. If you need a simple quick adjustment you can wait a long time while they take care the other people in the store. read more

Bad service. Seem overworked and disinterested. Want one hour glasses? Good luck...one hour to be helped maybe if you're lucky...then God knows when you'll actually get your overpriced glasses. read more

Terrible , had an appointment setup for today , and I get a call at 1:00 telling me my appointment is canceled and that the eye doctor is pregnant and on maturnity leave I just don't get why you make appointments if you know the doctor is pregnant and could go into labor at any time and another thing they told me I have to wait til Sunday for a eye doctor that's 2 days from now I had this appointment scheduled for a week now and I have a big ass ball of tape on my glasses so for these guys to tell me they are all booked for Saturday is outrageous don't get why I have to wait behind all these ppls when my appointment was today . They didn't even try to work with me or squeeze me in at anytime . They will never get my service again . read more

Even with my insurance I found Lens Crafters to be very, very expensive. if you want the lens replaced, they will tell you that you will need new frames to properly support the news lens. This is a gimmick to get you to pay more money. Do not waste your time and money. read more

I have purchased two pairs of glasses here in the last eight months - new Prada eyglasses at the end of the year and new Ray Ban sunglasses just a few months ago. My eyeglass experience was OK. The sales associate was a bit rude and abrupt and made me feel very rushed to make a decision. However, I absolutely loved my eyeglasses, and when it came time to purchase new sunglasses before a beach trip this spring, I went back to this convenient location. I had a different sales associate who was much more helpful and even helped me fine some frames that weren't easily accessible in the display case. However, keep in mind when shopping at LensCrafters that the company carries high end products that they quickly make for you on site. This is not the place to find a good deal on eyewear!
