    This is a mid-price Shell station in Kirkland. There are cheaper stations nearby, but it is less…read moreexpensive than gas stations in Bellevue. It is close to I-405 and it is across the street from Metropolitan Market. It is a standard gas station with a Jacksons convenience store. I am fine with paying a little more for location if I do not have to travel so far to fill up.

My daughter wanted to get some gum so went inside the gas station to buy gum while I finished pumping. Once finished, I pulled out of my spot to free it up for other customers while I waited for my daughter. I pulled slightly in front of the front door of the gas station store. I was not blocking the entrance OR the driveway for other cars to pull through. There was more than enough room for another car to pass thru and then some. There was a long line in the store (kids buying slurpees) and I was watching my daughter and waiting with my windows open. An employee named SYED came up to my car and immediately started yelling at me (while throwing his hands up in the air) "WHY WOULD YOU PARK YOUR CAR HERE? WHAT ARE YOU DONG?". I replied nicely with "I just got gas and am waiting for my daughter to buy some gum in your store, she is in line." From there, SYED began berating me: "YOU CANNOT BLOCK MY DRIVEWAY, YOU CANNOT BLOCK MY ENTRANCE YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR CAR, YOU CANNOT PARK HERE!!!!" I told SYED that I was not parked and just waiting for my daughter who will be done in less than a minute. I told him I am not blocking anyone from his store nor driveway. He continued to argue with me that I was parked and it was illegal. He made my daughter uncomfortable since he was yelling thru her window at me. Trivial stuff I know...... but hey, I am your customer SYED. I have been coming to this station at times for 15 years. If you simple asked in a nice manner ....... " hi Miss, would you mind pulling your car up a bit, I like to keep more space from my front door", I would of said sure. Yelling and berating your customer as your first form of communication is not professional. Also, you need to brush up on "parked" vs. "waiting". Will never buy gas from your store again.

    I've been to a lot of pharmacies over the years, and unfortunately it's not uncommon to feel like…read moreyou're just another number. That's why my recent experience at this Walgreens stood out, but also why I feel this review needs to be balanced. We actually transferred our prescriptions here from Safeway a couple of months ago, hoping that a larger pharmacy would be more reliable when it comes to keeping medications in stock. At Safeway, we often found ourselves scrambling to locate another pharmacy because they simply didn't have our medications in stock. Unfortunately, even though we've only been at Walgreens a short time, it has still been a stressful experience. It's very difficult to get through by phone, and there have been multiple times where I've been on hold for 20 minutes only to have the call disconnected. Prescriptions are not always ready when expected, which adds to the stress. We've had moments where we're close to running out of a medication and it's still "in progress," leaving us rushing to the store at the last minute. There also seems to be some kind of disconnect between their fulfillment system and the pharmacy itself. To be fair, this doesn't seem unique to this location. Many pharmacies these days appear to be short staffed and dealing with medication shortages, and it's clear the people working there are doing their best under difficult circumstances. I truly don't believe these issues are the fault of the staff, but rather a reflection of how these companies are being run. That said, the reason I'm giving three stars instead of a lower rating is because of Grant, the pharmacist. He truly went above and beyond to help us with several prescriptions. He was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and genuinely sympathetic. Instead of rushing through things, he took the time to really understand what we needed and jumped right in to help. It was such a refreshing experience and made a stressful situation so much easier. Grant is absolutely the shining light at this location and honestly the reason we're willing to stick around and hope things improve. His level of care and willingness to help is something you don't come across every day, and we're very grateful for him.

I said Ok, then 1:00? well no, they would be at lunch then! So then 2:00? aAt 3:30 there was still no text saying that they were ready so I just went down there. Guess what? They weren't ready!! My doctor wanted me to get these meds in my system ASAP - as it was important. So I'm here WAITING for them to be filled - mAubry 20 minutes. Good grief!!! This is on a Sunday too. No excuse for poorly run pharmacies and bad systems and processes. Makes you wonder why they felt compelled to put up this sign.

    Looking to grab some quick lunch and seeing Amazon Go across the way I figured I'd give it a shot…read more I'd forgotten how it works here so as I'm fumbling around trying to figure it out an employee came out and walked me through it which I appreciated. There are also instructions on screen to try and guide you. You open up the app and find the QR reader and make sure you have your payment set, scan and go in. From what I understand there are cameras and sensors that track your purchases so when you walk out it just bills your account and emails you a receipt. Very interesting concept. So, my impressions of it all outside of the cashless check out is that it's basically a 7 Eleven or similar convenience store. Some hot food and cold sandwich options, lots of drinks to choose from including soft drinks, coffee and plenty of snacks. The prices are a little higher than at a convenience store, especially since at say 7 Eleven they may have 2 for $4 on a bottle of coke or some similar promotion. Here at Amazon Go they sort of have a promotion but they're more akin to Subway where you have to buy a sandwich or something. I had a mini personal pizza from here and at $5 it wasn't bad. I'd go again simply for that but beyond that Amazon Go is just a cashless convenience store, convenient so that you don't have to really deal with lines.
