We had a flight and almost all of them were really good. It was one of the best flights I've ever had. The only weak spot was the brown ale, I don't know if it was something with the tap line or with the beer in general, but not great. But their stouts and specialty beers are fantastic. This is a nice brewery in downtown Mosinee. It looks really nice inside and out, lots of tables to sit down and enjoy a couple drinks. There is a private room to host a party in, gift shop area, and tap room with windows to the brewery. The tap room has some games for families and adults to help keep you occupied while you're there. The drink menu is large with plenty of beer/cider options, soda, and seltzers. We sampled a few of the beers, all were pretty good. We didn't stay long since there wasn't anything to snack on, but bags of popcorn and pretzels. It would be nice to have some more options for snacks while sitting there. There was a sign that they had pizza and more options coming soon. There were kids running round in the large open spaces, and it would be great to have somethings for the kids to do that are too young for the games. I would go back. read more

We loved this brewery! It was so cute inside and out. The beer flight was hands down the best decision we made. There was a hot blond that tasted delish (and went really well with the casa mezcal we ordered from next door). I also loved their blueberry sour! We ordered the nitro coffee as well as part of their flight and that did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and beers! Highly recommend. read more

We really enjoy coming here and it seems like their beer selection has really grown and expanded in the past year especially. They also have a nice selection of NA options which is always appreciated. The space itself is absolutely beautiful too and they have a small outdoor space but we usually stick inside. They have some very small bar snacks available and I belive frozen pizzas but otherwise no real food though sometimes they have food trucks! Only bummer is I wish they allowed dogs inside since they don't really serve food. read more

The atmosphere and physical space of this brewery is awesome! It's open and inviting and the natural wood throughout is such a great detail. The few beers I had were hit or miss, and I ended up with a pale that I thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had a peanut beer, but felt it was one note that lingered a little too long. He then went to a hazy IPA that he enjoyed as well, and said it had easy drinkability. There is plenty of bar space, room, and an area filled with board games and other activities. This was a great drop in on our drive from Madison to Wausau, and we would certainly come back when we are in the area! read more

The more breweries I go to the harder time I have reviewing ones that just aren't ready to be opened. The location is in a cute historic downtown area. You walk in and the inside Is just gorgeous. It has a north woods feel but with a fancy vibe. They used locally sourced materials to create a beautiful tap room and event space. The elegant, clean and modern wooden look has bright and beautiful lights which makes you excited to sit down and enjoy a beer with company. They must of spent most of the money on the look for the tap room because after that their isn't much else to say. We travel to try tap rooms all over and the beer here needs a lot more execution. We tried six of Mosinee Brewing Co beers, and then a few guest non beer choices for our gluten free friends. They had fifteen beers on tap total that were their own, and I think they need to take it back a bit and work on execution, carbonation and flavor first. Lakeview Raspberry Sour: As a sour this one is lacking the tartness needed to be called a sour. It is sweet like candy and definitely has a full blown raspberry flavor and aroma. Bog Berry: This was the best out of the six I went for. It was a cranberry pale ale and that it was. It has a slight tartness as to be expected from the cranberry but was light and smooth. This was refreshing. IGA IPA: The flavors were very interesting. I got floral,caramel , malty, sweetness, and ended with a bitter back. This was not your normal IPA. I was confused. Peanut Brown: I had high hopes as brown ales are my favorite. As a brown ale it was very thin and watery. The peanut part was intense though from aroma to flavor. It should have more of a creamy mouth feel and this beer was flat. The carbonation was definitely off in this one. Little Bull: woody and metallic. Reminded me of the smell of fresh stained wood and then ended with a metallic flavor. Usually high iron concentration in the brewing water or maybe Diacetyl. Norwegian Farmhouse: not your normal nori farmhouse. This was very malty and caramelly. We also tried the Kombucha and Press Seltzer. Both were great for our gluten free friends. Neither made by Mosinee Brewing. Great that they had these available! My hope it that they can take the time to fix some of these issues. The feels are missing key notes and flavors. I am wondering if they are still figuring out how to brew on a bigger system and weren't quiet ready. I do look forward to returning and hope to be able adjust this review in the future! read more

We don't live in Mosinee but we go out of our way to stop at Mosinee Brewing Company when we're heading south from Wausau. It's a beautiful relatively new space that's got a cozy vibe - if only they'd turn those lights down in the evening. Sometimes it's not bad but other times it's just far too bright for a night out. Could be such a great date spot. Please turn down those lights! read more

I landed at Mosinee Brewing Co. because they were listed in the 2022 Hop Passport. They are the 17th brewery I've visited this year from the passport and the first to expect that you pay up front. Most all breweries expect that you'll buy one with the get-one-free beer: that's the premise of the passport. Not Mosinee. Maybe they've been burned in the past but they are an outlier among Hop Passport breweries. It pissed me off, I gotta say. And the server was snotty about it, on top of it. Beer was okay. Good thing there are 88 breweries in the passport alone in Wisconsin. Head to Wausau or WI Rapids or Point or Waupaca or Amherst...lots of good -- and better -- options. read more

New brewery! No original beers brewed yet but have brews from other local Wisconsin breweries. Great venue inside with the wood finish and low hanging lights gives it a modern look. Lots of seating that includes black leather booths and large bar seating. Street parking was easy! read more

It's amazing, at least to me, that there's s real nice brewery in Mosinee. The facility is larger and the nicer even than I expected. It's rather of s stopover for us between the Cities (MN) and the other side of WI. I'll go again. The Raspberry Dampfbierr was unique and thirst quenching. Yummy. read more

Excellent atmosphere, excellent beer, excellent service. I can't say enough. This will be a destination stop as well as a "just passing through" stop. Keep it up! Would be fun to see them incorporate some kind of food in that spot but know that brings additional overhead and challenges. The beer IS NOT that great, I'd rather go to Bull Falls or any other place. The beer tenders have NO personality! Wtf! Once they FINALLY get your beer they go back to their phones. Carly is OK but seriously the rest NEVER crack a smile or a conversation. I'm sick of trying this place. read more

I love the atmosphere of this brewery. The space is open, warming, and welcoming. Large rounded bar so a large group can all sit together. Cool staff, shout out to Annie! Ordered a flight of six brews. Pros and cons of each but overall decent flight. The stouts are especially delicious. They also make their own Root Beer which was also delicious. read more

Was in town for work and needed a beer before catching my flight back to Chicago. After seeing a couple other restaurants in the area I was a bit nervous. Wow was I wrong. This place is beautifu! It's a huge, open space. I LOVED the light bulbs here. All retro. Such a cool space. And the bartender was so friendly. On a Thursday at 230pm they weren't exactly busy, so we chatted extensively. She was very inviting. And finally the beer was also great. All around great experience. If you ever find yourself in this tiny town do yourself a favor and stop in. read more

This place is very close to home for me so I'm looking forward to tasting their beer. Since they just got their brewing license they should have beer on tap in a couple of weeks. I'll update this in a couple of weeks. read more
