UPDATE: As usual, he didnt follow through with this request, therefore had to go in today. The initial prescription had a date two days after my initial appointment. The second prescription had a hand-written re-examination date and a prescription date OF TODAY. Another words, he never wrote and submitted the new one, for the remake, as initially thought. I questioned Tiffany and she replied in a not-so-kind tone that the new lenses were that of the new prescription. When you look at the numbers, nothing was altered but rather fields were deleted to "0"... but he said he needed to increase in my farsightedness. I have a claim/complaint with y insurance provider and plan to visit a reputable Dr in Spokane to look at both prescriptions and determine what my lenses are. The most disheartening aspect is that this family teaches my boys at a youth program, and this is how they are running their practice:(
UPDATE: They had me back in to conduct a second eye exam. The Dr stated that he needed to remake new lenses with more emphasis on long distance. Received them yesterday with absolutely nothing changed! Vision still the same with distance being blurred. Called and spoke to Dr Seiler. I don't believe they ever replaced my lenses with the new. He explained that they indeed did so, and expressed no desire to make it right His response was careless and unconcerned. I filed a claim with my vision insurance company in hopes that this will be resolved. My insurance ends this month as we are relocating and now I am without lenses that work. I called and requested a printout of both the new and prior prescription and will have it reviewed at another office.
Every time I visit this office, I swear I will never go back! Unfortunately, my only option is here or Walmart. The first time they dropped the ball and didn't send my son's records over the the specialist. We had to wait an hour for them to get them over and they had a month prior to get it done. Once there, we discovered they had given my son the wrong prescription. My husband had to get his lenses remade as they prescribed one of them wrong. They didn't look at his family history of glaucoma and my husband had to request to be dilated to make sure all was Ok. Dr didn't even bother to look into his past visits to see his history. He just had contacts made (not sure her name), the older gal with the long dark straight hair argued about how they should "feel" and was annoyed that they were not working for him. The last straw was today. I went in to pick up my new glasses and lenses. I knew right away that they did not feel right. The same lady argued with me continually. I explained that I KNOW that they are not right and continued to argue. I explained that the same thing happened to my husband. She proceeded to look his name up. I asked her why, as my glasses have nothing to do with his. Her reply was that "she wanted to look at something". It was clear that she wanted to look into his "issue" to see if I too was trying to cause a problem. I asked her again why his are relevant to mine and why we needed to look at his. She rudely responded, "we don't need to look, I WANT TO LOOK". She then rudely told me to go, take my glasses and call if I have an issue. I had also dropped my son's glassed off for a repair of glasses since they had replaced lenses a while back. A lens fell out of the frames because they didn't set it right and tighten them all the way.
All of this with other patients in the office. Very, very disapointing. read more
