This review reflects my mother‑in‑law's experience (and our family's) after more than ten years of…read moretaking our vehicles to Firestone Complete Auto Care on Hoagie Drive in Bel Air, MD. After this most recent visit, that long relationship is over. The trust she had in this location has been completely broken. An A/C diagnostic was scheduled three weeks in advance. When she arrived, she was casually told the A/C technician "would not be coming in." No courtesy call, no attempt to reschedule, no acknowledgment that the entire purpose of the appointment was to fix an A/C system that was failing. After rescheduling, they kept the car for five hours and then claimed the repair was complete. John, the current store manager, told her that a full A/C kit was needed and had been installed -- and charged us for the entire kit. A second Firestone location later confirmed the truth: the kit had only been partially replaced, and the A/C still blew warm air. The shop kept the old condenser (see photos) in our vehicle even though the kit provided a new one. That is not completed work. It is negligence. The pattern is impossible to ignore: constant upselling, disorganization, poor communication, and now outright dishonesty -- led directly by the store manager. After years of loyalty, this is how they chose to treat a returning customer. We have filed a formal complaint and are requesting a refund. We are also sharing this experience so others in the Bel Air area don't go through the same thing. One star is generous. Zero would be more accurate.

Justin at Firestone delivered exceptional customer service!!…read more I had an outstanding experience at Firestone thanks to Justin. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. He took the time to clearly explain everything about my vehicle and made sure I understood my options without making me feel rushed or pressured. What really impressed me was that Justin went above and beyond to help me save money. He helped me find a coupon and took the time to explain the promotions they had going on so I could get the best value. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and Justin truly stood out. Firestone is lucky to have someone like him representing their company. I will definitely be returning to this location because of the excellent service I received.

It was running fine, still getting 42mpg, but the time had come, and we had been saving our pennies for 6 years. My MD dealership told me back at 36k miles I would return to trade-in when the battery died because it would cost me $4,000. I never returned to the dealer, trusting my local mechanics at Harford Tire in Street, MD. They kept my car running like new up until I traded it in for $500. My new car had been "in transit" for months and arrived at Hertrich in Milford, DE on 2/17, the original ETA. When that expensive battery died in July of 2020, I did NOT return to the dealer. A quick Google search led me to phone a company called Hybrid911. Based in Atlanta, GA, I was skeptical, but was wrong. As promised, their team showed up at my house in Monkon, MD with a rebuilt battery, swapped it with my dead one, took my payment of $1100.00 and left. Not only the huge savings, but a $19.99 monthly payment insured me and my little wonder car that I'd never worry about the battery again. They guaranteed that the next rebuilt hybrid would cost ZERO. It's hard to believe, but when I called Ms Kelly at 888-761-1911 today, I was sad to be leaving them. I truly felt they would have honored that policy if I drove my Prius another 100k miles. Good, honest people are out there when you look. I was blessed with taking a chance on a Prius, that so many friends mocked me for driving. (Coworkers complained it was too quiet, and suggested I was peddling) Funny, now those "all electrics" cost a fortune. My garage on Priestford Rd in Street, MD would remind me whether 5k or 3k checkups were recommended. Most were $60.00 for oil change and fluid/tire checks. And final blessing was my new dealership, who when they didn't have a Rav4 on the lot to test drive suggested I keep driving the Prius until it arrived. They even offered to change the oil in my Prius while I waited. Thanks Ms. Kelly for suggesting I tell the truth online.
