I love scary things, so when I heard about a haunted house that's open all year long, I had to check it out. It's located in Old Town, which is a fun area with shops and restaurants to explore after your scare tour. The haunted house itself is pretty big, and there were a few things I really liked. Each room had a different horror theme, and the attention to detail in the decor and special effects was super impressive. I also liked that they send you in with a small groups. I didn't enjoy that the staff just yelling and screaming at you to scare you. For me, it felt more annoying than scary. The best haunted house I've ever been to was in Tennessee. It had interactive elements, which made it way more intense and fun. Overall, this haunted house was more about cool effects than actual scares.

The front facade of the manor- it feels like it goes on for miles inside!!

This attraction is stunningly beautiful and truly terrifying! They've got something for everyone's fears, and killer gift shop, and incredibly talented employees. Highly recommend, but not for the faint of heart!!

This was awesome. I don't scare easily and it scared me pretty good. Cool house and decent price.

Keep in mind 3 is a solid rating, that is their base. Then I am giving an additional star to the scaractor who was in the chapel and skidded across the floor and jumped over pews! We visited 10/19/18 evening. The Manor is Central Florida's only year round haunted attraction. Check their website for hours of operation. Mortem is the next owners since the team from Legends owned the attraction which I'm not going to lie, I adored. The MM team have done a great job making the space their own and telling their own story. I would like to see more live actor action in the house. I also know that it's a tricky thing because of budget and profit and such. Over all, I recommend a visit and I'll be back too. Some of the great pluses about the attraction is that just your group goes through and you are not pushed through by employees dressed in black :::cough HHN cough:::: so that you can take your time enjoying the environment that MM has created. So make visit and get scared!

WOW! We shopped at Post Mortem, next to Mortem Manor; and, our daughter was able to assemble an excellent outfit - shirt, skirt and shawl, which she wore to Disney Springs the next day. The people in the shop were so helpful; and, the selection was excellent. Prices are fine for licensed merchandise. I saw a few items I would have wanted to buy had it not been our daughter's birthday weekend.

Such a great spooky set up! Absolutely love the set! They put such attention to the detail outside & inside!

So this was a random happenstance - this was a part of our campy Marge (Marge being out key word to be tourists in our hometown) date - we went to Olde Town. As long as the both of us have live in the Orlando area, we've never been to Olde Town. Now I've heard of Mortem Manor & I miss the days of Terror in Church Street. I LOVE HAUNTED HOUSES!! I love the preface of being scared, I love the adrenaline rush! It pleased us both to find out that an all year haunted house existed! We've been to Freaking Bros in Las Vegas (a part of our honeymoon was doing the R-Rated House of Hell), Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary, been to several years of Halloween Horror Nights (even worked a few in college), been to Terror in Church Street - even absolutely love the Haunted Mansion in WDW. So this was exciting. We both got the admission to the Haunted House ($15) & the Last Ride ($5)(the buried alive simulation). You got a deal if you did both so it was $18 each. Completely worth it! I will be bringing more of our friends here & possibly see if later we can get a group to go. I was worried that the haunted house would be a lot of jump scares, but seriously the time & effort of the sets was awesome. We were lucky that we were the first people in the house, so we got to walk around a bit & actually look at the sets the attention to detail is awesome! There's a lot of jump scares but it's really well done. You will react. The anticipation of the butcher curtains, the darkly lit hallways - it was wonderful. I don't want to give it away, but how they set things up is not just a silly diorama of Spirit Halloween items (which I was worried about that)- one of the last scenes is in a church & it is amazing. There are actors that do interact with you so I absolutely love it. One of the actors came up to us & said to my husband that he would be the main course & coyly paused saying I would be desert. Such a charming cannibal! The second part was the Buried Alive - Last Ride. This probably isn't for the claustrophobic - you're pretty much placed into a coffin. Still, I get kinda freaked out in tight places, but I am all about experiences. This is definitely an experience! You have to get into a coffin (shoes off) & you are in a deep dark almost sound proof coffin. It's a sensory experience. You'll smell funeral flowers, burning rubber, & the smell of earth. I'm not going to ruin the experience but I think the only thing I'd suggest is to make it a smidge louder. The cool thing (& what they don't tell you) is that there is a night vision camera & they film your reaction. I liked it only because it can get in your head & it is startling, but it's an experience with a twist at the end. All in all, you only love once & if you love the adrenaline rush & love to be scared, DO IT. You won't regret it.

We had the Premier Pass so it wasn't an issue that we wanted to go spur of the moment. We were in line with another ride and that's when he told me his favorite rides were virtual reality rides like Soarin'. The line to Soarin' wasn't long. We waited less than 15 minutes and the line moved the whole time. There was a large group in front of us so there was a little bit of confusion as they didn't all fit on one row, and at least wanted to be on at the same time so they moved them which took a little bit of time to coordinate. We rode Soarin' and it wasn't bad. I only closed my eyes a couple of times. It really is a magnificent view. My husband said it wasn't as good as the one in Disneyland. There are 2 parade times and the parade will start in Frontierland and make it's way to Main Street. We prefer and always recommend the second parade as it is less crowded and easier to find a space to watch the parade. If you want to sit down and watch it I would recommend grabbing a spot early as this is one of the most popular parades. It is one of my personal favorite. The parade starts with the best part of the parade, the headless horseman. He rides the entire parade path and it is so incredibly neat to see! You must see if at least once. The parade has a very catchy tune as well. During the parade it is very different than the daytime parade. The characters have Halloween costumes on and there are more villains. Another favorite spot is the gravediggers from the Haunted Mansion. They drag their shovels on the ground and actually make sparks. Its very neat to see! Overall this is a great parade! I love it. We got there around 3 and went straight to the Orca show at Shamu Stadium, which was actually really good. The park didn't feel too crowded, but ride wait times were still long. This trip was all about our son, and Sesame Street Land at SeaWorld Orlando delivered. Seeing him in his Elmo outfit light up during the parade was everything. Food at Altitude Burger was underwhelming--expensive, basic, and the seating area needed some attention cleanliness-wise. The highlight, though, was the animal experiences. I walked up to the geodesic sphere, one of the most recognizable structures in all of theme park history, and the visual impact of it greeting me as I entered the Epcot gates never really got old. The ride itself took me on a slow, relaxed journey through the history of human communication, from cave paintings through to the modern era, with animatronics and scene work that reflect the classic Disney dark ride format at its most thoughtful. It is not a thrill ride and does not try to be. The pace is deliberate and the whole experience runs about fifteen minutes, which makes it one of the more meditative attractions in any Disney park. I found the storytelling carried genuine weight, and the educational angle was handled in a way that felt engaging rather than dry. The garage scene toward the end of the journey is a fan favorite moment and landed well for me. The interactive screen component at the end added a light touch of personalization that was charming without overstaying its welcome. Lines build quickly after park open and can push past 40 minutes during busy periods, so riding it early in the day or using Lightning Lane is the practical move. It is also an ideal choice when I need a break from the heat or want something that the whole group can do without any age or height considerations. The ride has had some mechanical roughness at times, so the experience can vary slightly, but even on an off day it remains one of the more distinctive and worthwhile attractions at Walt Disney World.
