When visiting the park the haunted mansion is must. Yes there is always a wait and long line but you just go with the flow and hope your turn comes sooner than later. No matter how many time you ride theres always excitement knowing that you have to ride it again and again. Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite attractions at the park. Thank you Kate and Maria for getting my hat. I thought I had lost it forever and that one of the ghost would be wearing it however, Katie and Maria were able to help me out. Thank you for your great customer service.

This ride just doesn't get old!!!! As you wait for the ride, anticipation builds as you weave your way through crypts and tombstones. Be on the lookout for everything from music to a tomb blowing bubbles. Finally, it's time for you to load into the car to explore the mysteries of the Haunted Mansion. You'll pass by as ghosts dance to entertain themselves as you watch. Be careful one may even hitch a ride in your buggy! It's a great time. This one is not scary. It will entertain kids and adults alike. There are not any major drops or surprises. Treat yourself so this can be your required ride when you hit Disney. It's already mine!

This is an awesome ride. It's a little better at night just because of the haunted factor. You file into a giant room with everyone to start the ride. The ride itself is on a flat escalator system and it seats up to 3 I think but it's better to ride it by yourself or with one other person. It's not a scary ride per se, but they have "spooky" stuff throughout. Definitely a must visit.

Worth the wait. This is a classic staple of Magic Kingdom. Even the queue line you wait in has hidden secretes, can you find the ring stuck in the concrete that the Haunted mansion, wife threw away? Recently added the hat box ghost after the hit movie of 2023, take a look in the attic. Finally, don't rush to leave when you get outside, there's a pet Sematary in a ghost drawn carriage

Would've been cool if we actually got to ride it. Instead it suffered a major malfunction just moments into the ride forcing us to sit strapped in for about 15 minutes before staff started evacuating us one by one. Of course we were the last ones to be let off the ride and staff was there to give us a "fast pass" or whatever they call it to skip the line when we return. Well how does that work on a one day pass when the ride takes a dump and doesn't reopen for the rest of the day? Typical of Disney IMO and a disgrace when it costs $1000 for a family of 5 to enter for ONE day!

We love this classic ride! Maybe it's just nostalgia coming from a native Floridian. It's a blast from the past, and it's certainly not meant to be scary in today's standards. It's just supposed to be creepy in a cartoony sort of way. The mansion at night time is always a thrill. I have memories from Grad Night in the 80s. We stayed overnight in the Magic Kingdom park until the wee hours of the morning. We slept on our ride back to Miami on the bus, and watched the sun rise. We even brought our pillows. Great memories! We used a Genie+ LL for this one. The lines can be very long, and it was a ride that we couldn't pass up. The cemetery outside even appeared to be the same. My husband shared a great childhood memory of his first visit with his mom. It made me a little glassy eyed. I know there have been a few changes, but I didn't really recognize any of them. I'm pretty sure I heard Vincent Price's sinister laugh. Wasn't it gone for a little while? I know it was him. Anyway, I believe it was the first high capacity ride thanks to the omnimover system with its rotating abilities. The Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind ride uses some of this technology in it's vehicles as well. I read that somewhere about it being an ode to the Haunted Mansion. It's just one of those rides that we just can't miss. At least not for this Florida resident who has to experience every classic ride when visiting this theme park.

Haunted Mansion is a classic Disney ride. Every Disney Park around the world has a version of the Haunted Mansion. This one is located at Magic Kingdom over in Liberty Square and is your classic spooky Disney ride. This is one of our favorite rides and a must visit each time we are there. You must have a park ticket to get into Magic Kingdom, but no extra ticket is required to ride, unless you want to use the lightening lane and not wait quite as long. This ride can really have a long wait and 98% of the line is outside. It is mostly covered but still outside. Tip- if it says 13-minute wait, this means it is virtually a walk on. If you are in the standard line, there are a few things to look at and do while in line but more towards the end of the line. Right before you enter the mansion, make sure to look to the graveyard on the left, the tombstones have some really funny and clever sayings. This is a slow-moving ride that takes you through the Mansion. It is a dark ride, meaning there is not a lot of light, and you are mostly in the dark. It is a 2-person vehicle, and the track continues to move. This ride tends to stop a lot which could slow the line down. If you are unable to get into your buggy with the walkway moving, they will slow it down for you as well, just ask. Once you enter the house, you have a sort of preshow. This is the stretching room, "Is this room actually stretching or is it just your imagination?" Classic Disney line! If you know you know, and we know. I always find myself saying it along with the show. After that you are merged into a short que line. This is literally the worse part of the line. Everyone is flooded together and has to combine into a single file line. Usually, the case members are yelling move forward, fill in all spaces and then all of a sudden you have to merge into one small single file line. Everyone is pushing and shoving, and it truly is terrible. My wife is a tad claustrophobic and has anxiety, so we usually wait till everyone has come out of the stretching room and stand behind the group. The ride itself, takes you through the mansion all the way to the attic, and then to the backyard. There is something to see in every corner. It is very dark, so children could be scared. There is a lap bar so you cannot jump out either. There is one part where your vehicle goes backwards. Recently they have also added the hat box ghost into the ride. He was a very much anticipated addition, and it is a super cool effect. This is probably my favorite ride at the park. All in all, this is a great ride. It is one of our favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom and one we must always go on. If the line is long, keep an eye on it, there are shorter times throughout the day that will be a shorter wait. I would recommend checking it out.

The Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is simply the best ride in the entire park. The ride is a mix of fun and scary, but not too scary for younger kids. The attraction is stunning just looking at the architecture of the mansion and all of the details with decorations inside of the ride itself - especially in the stretching room before you board your "doom buggy". The ride itself is throughout the mansion and slow and dark - it is maybe 10 minutes long. This is one of the original Walt Disney's ride creations, and I hope that it stays in the park forever, it's the original, scary, dark theme park ride. This is the ride you must go on if you visit Magic Kingdom. Enter if you dare, foolish mortal!

This is an iconic classic and a must ride every time we visit the park. The line is usually long but moves quickly and there is plenty to see in the queue. Whether young or old it is a favorite for all park visitors. The music, the bucket seats and the dark eerie venue create the perfect atmosphere for a journey that can be enjoyed again and again. HOT TIP: Secret crypto gram hidden in the bookshelf, if you have time try to solve the puzzle!

Haunted Mansion is one of my faves at Magic Kingdom. The wait time can get long but if you have a fast pass scheduled for the ride, you skip the long wait. If you go early, no much of a wait. The headstones are funny as you wait outside and read them... once you step inside, you get intro and before getting on the ride. Sit back and enjoy the ride, look out for hidden Mickey here... As you leave the ride, beware as you may take a ghost home with you... LOL Watch your step as you get on and off the ride. this ride is great indoors to get a break from the heat for a bit.

We got soooo much candy!! If you or your kid has a food allergy no worries, when you go to the candy stop they receive a special token good to redeem at their own station where they receive an entire bag of allergy free treats! Pretty cool!! You will see Mickey and all of the Disney characters... and I mean ALL OF THEM! There are several scattered throughout the park and every single character is in the parade. I mean characters I've never seen before walk in the parade!! The lines to rides are shorter so you are able to go through them much quicker and can do more. We did all of the premier rides at least once and a couple twice. Some of the smaller quick service food spots are closed and a few of the non-ride entertainment attractions are closed to make room for the trick or treat candy pickup spots. Overall it was a 10/10 experience for our entire family of 6.

The first thing to note is that you must have a special event ticket to the Halloween Party, normal day guests will need to leave before the party starts. There are 2 parade times and the parade will start in Frontierland and make it's way to Main Street. We prefer and always recommend the second parade as it is less crowded and easier to find a space to watch the parade. If you want to sit down and watch it I would recommend grabbing a spot early as this is one of the most popular parades. It is one of my personal favorite. The parade starts with the best part of the parade, the headless horseman. He rides the entire parade path and it is so incredibly neat to see! You must see if at least once. The parade has a very catchy tune as well. During the parade it is very different than the daytime parade. The characters have Halloween costumes on and there are more villains. Another favorite spot is the gravediggers from the Haunted Mansion. They drag their shovels on the ground and actually make sparks. Its very neat to see! Overall this is a great parade! I love it. You can only see it during the Halloween party but if you go, this is a must see even if you are watching just a few moments. I highly recommend it.

Just a note though, if you want to sit down on the sidewalks, you will need to arrive early and grab your spot. The headless horseman starts the parade and it is the one thing most people want to see, it truly is amazing. He rides the entire route on his horse carrying his pumpkin head. It's actually really cool to see. Cast members working the parade route tells all guest, to make sure our feet are on the side walk, before the horse arrives in the area. This is to ensure the horse doesn't get distracted while on the route. The parade itself is totally different from the Magic Kingdom day parade. The characters are wearing Halloween costumes and there are more villains in the parade. One of the most favorite segments of the parade, is the gravediggers from the Haunted Mansion. I thought maybe that was because this ride opened around the same time as the movie in 1989. However, I was a bit surprised to learn after the fact that this ride actually opened 23 years after the movie, in late 2012. On the ride, you board clamshells that take you on an adventure under the sea. Pretty much all the characters from the movie make an appearance and the ride is filled with Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's popular songs like "Part of Your World," "Under the Sea," "Poor Unfortunate Souls," and "Kiss the Girl." The "Under the Sea" song and dance segment is bright and colorful. It reminds me of going to E.T.'s planet in the E.T. Adventure ride at Universal Studios. It's a festive party; both rides have that neon-colored, crowded "creature party" aesthetic. During our visit, the animatronic Ariel in this section was broken and inanimate. Kind of funny and creepy. During the "Kiss the Girl" segment, the plastic water coming out of the fishes' mouths didn't look great. It added to the overall sort of "knock-off" and kitschy look of the ride. Also, right before the end of the final scene with King Triton and the wedding of Ariel and Eric, the ride stopped on us. So, I was able to get a good, long look at the different animatronics and scenery. Finally, I thought the transitions between the high-quality video and the actual practical physical ride props were a bit jarring. Other rides do it better like, for example, the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at EPCOT. We had Lightning Lane passes at around 1:47 PM on a non-holiday Monday and experienced no line and no wait.

I've been on this once before in Disneyland when it first opened and once was enough for me. My husband really wanted to go so we went. I figure if it got that bad I could always close my eyes. We had the Premier Pass so it wasn't an issue that we wanted to go spur of the moment. We were in line with another ride and that's when he told me his favorite rides were virtual reality rides like Soarin'. The line to Soarin' wasn't long. We waited less than 15 minutes and the line moved the whole time. There was a large group in front of us so there was a little bit of confusion as they didn't all fit on one row, and at least wanted to be on at the same time so they moved them which took a little bit of time to coordinate. We rode Soarin' and it wasn't bad. I only closed my eyes a couple of times. It really is a magnificent view. My husband said it wasn't as good as the one in Disneyland. I'm glad we rode it, at least my husband can say that and not be like we should have rode it, but didn't.

The ride simulates you flying above various beautiful, wide-sweeping vistas. There are different variations of this ride. We did Soarin' Around the World. Soarin' Around the World includes, in order, the Swiss Alps, Greenland (polar bears), Sydney Harbour, Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, Mount Kilimanjaro (elephants), the Great Wall of China, the Egyptian pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the West and East Mitten Buttes in Arizona, islands in Fiji (my favorite since my wife and I just got back from there), Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina, the Eiffel Tower, and, finally, a fireworks show at EPCOT. There are smells and scents (e.g., when you go through the African grasslands, you smell grass; when you go to India, you smell spices), water mist (e.g., when you go to the waterfalls), and the seats tilt and move to help with the flight simulation experience. The music for Soarin' was originally composed by the late legendary Jerry Goldsmith. He scored many of my favorite motion picture soundtracks like the Star Trek and Rambo movies. Soarin' is located inside the Land Pavilion in World Nature at EPCOT. Soarin' also has locations in Anaheim, Shanghai, and Tokyo. In Summer 2026, the Orlando and Anaheim rides will change from Soarin' Around the World to Soarin' Across America to celebrate the United States Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence). Here's a preview of the new ride: https://www.instagram.com/p/DQFhC-WEnWG/ It looks incredible!
