This company is a meal prep service who has weekly meals and deliveries within Ventura County. They operate strictly through Instagram: Cali_mealpreps so that means there is no formal website or phone number. How it works is every week they drop an update menu of choices for their weekly meals. You have until the end of the day Friday to place your order for each week. Typically I message them on their page, note my order and if I want delivery or pickup and then confirm the cost. They are pretty good about writing back quickly, they confirm the order and then I zelle / venmo them the money. It's all been a pretty simple transaction and process once I caught on after the first week or two. I can confirm that they operate out of a local "ghost kitchen" so it's a liscened-industrial kitchen and legit as far as it goes for food standards and safety, which I appreciate. Their pick up location is in the city of Camarillo and if that is the route you take, they will give you further instructions on your pick up. The benefit of living in Camarillo is they do free delivery which has made the experience even better. As far as delivery goes for other cities, it might depend on how many orders they have... For example, one of my friends from Ventura ordered and she let me know that they did not do delivery that far and that she had to do pick up at the camarillo site. At least for camarillo locals it is definitely the most convenient option... But I also appreciated when there have been times I wouldn't be home for the delivery slots, they were flexible with me coming to do my own pick up when it worked for me. Now for the part that really matters... I am really happy with the food and weekly rotating options. This is a meal preparation company, so it naturally is healthier meals and smaller portions which is exactly what I need and why I'm ordering with them. I do feel that the meals are satisfying/filling but also really healthy and aligned with some of my better eating goals/diet goals for this year. I'm appreciative that the meals change weekly and that they try to keep it interesting/fresh so you don't get tired of the same foods.

Guess what it was........a big pan full of sliced tri-tip. The food was good, just make sure they don't take your food that you paid for that's intended for you & your guests to take home. The workers from Garcia's had also ate and packed to go containers for themselves to take that they hid inside their food warmers. You are already paying a lot of money for food and ir was fine that they ate but to also be taking food home! That is not okay. Check those food warmers before they leave.
