The rice was solid, well-seasoned and fluffy with just the right amount of moisture. It paired perfect with the empanadas, making the plate feel hearty and balanced. The macaroni added a nice cool contrast to the rest of the plate. The portions were extremely generous, and everything was still warm and fresh when I took it home. The included sides of pico de gallo and sour cream. If you're craving comfort food with that homemade feel this hits!!

The quality is amazing and they have a large variety to rotate through so you don't get sick of "eating healthy." It's so easy and convenient for us. They even sent a token of appreciation for being a customer- something you wouldn't get from other meal delivery services.

Then said "i dont think i rung you guys up" just for a mango smoothie. We would have walked out but we at least have some dignity and payed. Please bring back the other lady!!! We stopped…read moreby about 30 minutes before closing, which I feel like is reasonable time to visit a store, but the staff acted like we were inconveniencing them. They seemed more interested in closing than helping customers, and the service reflected that. We ordered two twist cones with sprinkles, and each cone got a single spoonful of sprinkles. At the Camarillo location, the tops are always covered, so this felt cheap and intentional rather than an honest mistake. If serving customers 30 minutes before closing is a problem, the posted hours should reflect that. Between the unfriendly service and the noticeably skimpy portions, this location doesn't live up to the Mister Softee name. We won't be back!

Very average BBQ…read more.. I'm a self-admitted BBQ purist, impartial to NC BBQ, but have also had some of the best BBQ in TX (Terry Blacks, Goldees, and Franklin), and this is simply not TX BBQ. The restaurant is situated off the beaten path in the business district, but it's impossible to miss with the huge smoker sitting out front. It's a small restaurant with just a few tables and the ordering situation is a bit wonky (just one small window to order and pickup from). The staff was ultra-friendly and the food came out quick. As for the food, it was just okay... The BBQ itself wasn't bad, but it was definitely precut and kept in warmers (this would give a pit master down in TX a myocardial infarction as this is a huge "no no"); the sides were actually really good though. The total was about $30 for lunch, which to me was a bit high based on the quality of the BBQ. Overall... Not bad, not great, but not certainly TX BBQ.
