When my machine started acting up, I remembered Peter and called to see if he could work on my specific sewing machine. He said he could and even remembered me from when he visited my guild and spoke. I ended up bringing in a second older machine that belonged to my mother and I wanted to give it to my niece. Peter said he could work on that one too. I brought the machines in on a Tuesday and Peter called that afternoon with a free estimate and had them both ready for pickup in two days! Such awesome and prompt service. I was afraid I would be without my machine for a couple weeks. Not with Peter! Thank you Peter for being so awesome!! I will be back for regular service on my machine.

She printed out two free patterns for me to go with the cute mini-charm packs I had to get. I found the perfect background for a holiday table runner I am in the process of making. Prices are in line with other quilt shops. When she found out I was visiting the area she suggested a few other quilt shops that I should stop by if I had the time. Ingrid confirmed it as soon as I entered. I just purchased my very first sewing machine yesterday, although slightly used and still looking brand new, it did not come with other accessories. "I have a Brother (sewing machine) now, but also have two sisters", I said. Ingrid appreciated the joke and told me she likes corny jokes because she is young at heart. She gave me a tour of this new location and expressed how much bigger and better the lay out is for their needs. At first I thought it was a tiny store until she led me to the back where all the sewing machines were. I just needed needles and the one they carry is the Schmetz brand which is highly recommended compared to Organ. I bought a pack of Universal and Denim needles. Along with my purchase is a raffle ticket for their Grand Opening this Saturday, April 25. Crossing my fingers. This is the store to go to if you want high-end quality sewing machines that you won't find at a Wallyworld. Really serious stuff for embroiders and quilters, plus the supplies you need.

The instructor was absolutely fantastic--knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful. They made everyone feel comfortable, whether you had never touched a sewing machine before or had a little experience. They took the time to answer questions without judgement and with patience and made sure no one felt left behind. The class was well organized, hands-on, and relaxed, creating a welcoming environment where everyone could learn at their own pace while having fun. I walked away feeling much more confident and excited to keep sewing.
