The cliche of hugging the fabrics in the store because you love them so much is true here. Ingrid confirmed it as soon as I entered. I just purchased my very first sewing machine yesterday, although slightly used and still looking brand new, it did not come with other accessories. "I have a Brother (sewing machine) now, but also have two sisters", I said. Ingrid appreciated the joke and told me she likes corny jokes because she is young at heart. She gave me a tour of this new location and expressed how much bigger and better the lay out is for their needs. At first I thought it was a tiny store until she led me to the back where all the sewing machines were. I just needed needles and the one they carry is the Schmetz brand which is highly recommended compared to Organ. I bought a pack of Universal and Denim needles. After he cut some foam for me, he tied them up so it was easy for me to carry. Oh, and make sure you look at the fabric that is on sale. Lots of good buys back there!
