The tech claimed our HVAC line needed to be cleaned out without even opening up and looking at it. It was only two years old. We called a neutral company and had them come out to do an inspection with no prior information. They opened everything up and said everything was in top shape...opened the line and told us it was immaculately clean. This just proved that Ace was coming up with a reason for the builders to be able to blame us for the leak, because Ace is contracted with our builders. Follow the money. A year later, our thermostat plus sign button just stopped working. We tried to call Ace, because it had a 5 year warranty. They wanted us to pay $100 for them to come out and replace it. We could go buy a new thermostat for close to that price. No one told us that until the day of our appointment too. When my husband told them he was unhappy with their company, the rep hung up on him. All of this is especially disgraceful, because they claim to be a Christian company.

My AC line outside was frozen over. I called 2 other businesses first (Rescue Air and Dragan)…read more Both companies came and checked out my unit and said my HVAC needed to be replaced for costs ranging between $7000-16,000. Thank goodness I picked Jade Air for my third, and final estimate. Aric (the owner's nephew) came out and immediately said that the problem was that the connectors needed to be replaced. For under $500, my connectors were replaced, my unit (inside and out) were thoroughly cleaned and serviced, and the Freon was topped off. In addition, Gilbert, the owner, said if I had problems in the near future, and needed to replace my unit, the money I'd spent would be applied to my new purchase. Win-win. To top that off, I was having what I thought was an electrical problem since the last rainstorm. One circuit wasn't working and flipping my breakers hadn't fixed the issue. I mentioned it to Aric and he checked the breaker box (testing all of the switches) and spent time looking around my house to try to determine the cause. Turns out one of the GFCI switches was off. Aric saved me the cost (and time!) of having an electrician come out and find this simple solution. I was his last call at the end of the day, so the fact that he was determined to help me was extraordinary. This is a family-owner business and they are extremely personable and trustworthy. Call them, you won't be sorry. You can I'll be using and recommending Jade Air for HVAC needs from now on!!!

It was really a 5 star experience. The reason this is a 3 star review is that I've had some trouble getting them to come out for a routine service of the unit the last 2 years. In 2018, I emailed Chris with no response. I called and scheduled an appointment and no one ever showed up. I called to see what happened and they clearly forgot about it. It got rescheduled and completed but person that came out left my bathroom a mess. This year, I've called 3 times (once a month basically) and keep getting told that they are too busy and I need to try again later.

There were 4 AC companies that gave me quotes. A1 Air not only was the highest of all the quotes but stated that all of the unnecessary work that they did quote was code and had to be performed such as installing a French drain , and when asked about an incentive from Oncor , the sales woman's stated quote ," Oncor has no money to give away for any incentives...HA HA." All of the companies gave quotes for a 2.5 ton and the 16 or above seer system with and with out heat pumps along with WiFi capable thermostats. A1 Air 8700.00 with 18 month zero % financing . Chapman Air, 7700.00 no zero % financing . Willard Air 7500.00 18 month zero % financing . Forney Air 60 month zero % financing, Oncor incentive used towards price of the unit , and the final price was under the lowest I was quoted by the other ac companies. The 34 year old ac system in my house was completely removed and replaced with a shiny new system along with new electrical boxes and wiring 10 year warrant on parts and 3 year warranty on labor which was way better that the other companies . Communication between the owner Richard and his techs and office was the easiest I've ever had with any company . Any issues I may have had with anything was quickly resolved . So far the service works great and no issues as of yet and really do not expect any. I have recommended this company since the first hour that they started installing my new AC unit. The part 2 of this review will be after the long hot summer of 2019 to report back how the new AC service has worked . 06/30/2020 Review Part 2 On June 17th 2020 our A/C started blowing hot air. Being I decided to see if it was a fluke and let it run for a day or so just to see if it was the heat or actually the the A/C. Well , it never got cold. So on the 19th we called Forney Air and scheduled the appointment. At 3pm a technician arrived and discovered a cool element in the attic malfunctioned , which is rare for that unit. The technician was able to get a new part ordered from a near by supplier and was also able to get that part same day . Forney Air Owner Richard and a platoon of technicians arrived with the new part and quickly installed and performed diagnostics on the entire system. All of this including the inspection and replacement took maybe all of 3 hours and was covered under the warranty. The efficiency and professionalism of Forney Air has still not wavered. Support your local business like Forney Air . You will not regret it.

Very disappointed with the service I have received... I had a new ac unit put in a couple months ago a very nice upgraded 2 stage system ... the owner Richard came out and was very nice let me know what my options were and seemed Very thorough and knowledgeable while selling the unit that is really the reason I went with his company ... come install day 2 guys came out and put the unit in they seem to have had some trouble getting the unit in the ac closet they took the thing apart and installed in piece by piece ... but once again they know what they are doing I really do not ... the first day before they even leave I notice that the system is really loud they dont seem to think anything of it after testing it out and such I give it a couple days then decide to call it takes 2 calls to get a call back and have them check it out they come out and yes there was a problem a zip tie was In the fan making it like a card in the spokes of a bike tire ... a couple weeks later I open the ac closet and it is like a freezer in there I have more ac in that closet them my whole house it seems and I notice that the unit has black duct tape all over it so I call them again it once again takes 2 calls to get a response...they send out the same guy that installed it he is very nice but he comes out and duct tapes it more and tells me that these (top of the line) American standard dont always have there seals and gaskets in them or just dont fit right ... the problem is still going on I can leave that door open to help cool the house I guess ... so I have been calling the owner for over a week now and i can not get a return call at all !!! I wanted to have him come out and check it as it being duct taped together doesnt seem like it's a good unit that i just paid high dollar for plus the filter that I will need to change is behind the drain pipes and seems impossible to get it out to change it ... that nice 3 year warranty doesnt seem that great if they won't return there calls at all!!!! Good luck if you use these guys!!! I will now be calling a reputable ac company to came out and fix it or reinstall it correctly I guess !!!

It was pretty clear he was just trying to help us find solutions instead of selling us a new AC unit. We ended up replacing it anyways instead of repairing it but it wasn't because we were pushed into it by big label A holes who clearly didn't care that an entire family roasted without air in peak summer. However, she did better and called me back to ask if she could send a technician within 30 mins. (Yay!!) I was inside my home with temp at 87 degrees. Mike and Tarion were professional as they diagnosed the issue. Mike did a great job explaining to me what the problem was and confirmed my warranty information. He also took pictures from the attic to show me what was going on with the coil. I was given a quote for the work. This is where I didn't quite understand why it was so pricey given Chat GPT was providing the average cost much less. I spoke with Tony, and he provided the breakdown for the estimate for the labor cost. The two men were good and I appreciate Drew and Sam for their hard work and willingness to make sure all my questions were answered. They were professional and friendly and very nice guys. They were quick because it took 2.5 hours to complete the job. Because of that, I overlooked the very expensive labor fee. :-) I would give the company a five star if I felt they showed complete transparency with their labor fees per hour. I know most companies do not want to disclose that information, but this provides the consumer with a sense of respect and not being taken advantage of the situation. I feel this would be a fair. All that to say is, I am happy to be back in a cool home. I now have a home warranty. All I pay is a deductible. :-)
