In today's housing market, it is increasingly difficult--even for well-qualified military members--to secure housing near our duty stations. You would expect coastal communities, especially those with a strong military presence, to be more accommodating to service members and their families. Policies like these make it harder for those who serve to live where they are stationed. I hope property management companies take a closer look at how their leasing criteria impact military applicants and reconsider how they support those serving this country.
