The granite stairs they built were gorgeous. So beautifully done. It was evident they took pride in their work and did everything the right way, never skimping corners. I had noticed that a support column on my porch had been leaning and buckling outward. Upon further investigating the issue it turned out that the extent of the damage was greater than appeared on the surface as the post had completely rotted through, the wall had pulled away from the deck and the foundation underneath had crumbled. Despite the amount of work involved, John remained honest and fair as he provided me with several options and worked with me and my budget to get the best result possible to meet both my expectations as well as his high standard of quality. I am beyond pleased with the final outcome! They managed to get the entire side of the porch torn down, the foundation properly repaired and then have it all rebuilt and tied back into the existing stairs and porch within just a few days. If you are in need of any masonry, carpentry or decking work I can't recommend Tough Build Masonry enough. They were honest, hard working and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I absolutely intend to call them in the future for any projects. Thank you, John!

Once again Adam/ AQM and his team have done outstanding…read moremasonary work on my home. Adam's team just regrouted a stone retaining wall, repaved my driveway and added a cobblestone apron and border to the driveway. Adam recommended topping my retaining wall with bluestone rather than cement. Aesthetically, the entire look is 100% improved in two days of efficient and spotless work by the crew! On discussion of the project, Adam recognized and addressed that my town required a permit for the cobblestone apron portion. Work started within a week of the permit. FYI: Adam is extremely responsive to text messaging with questions and concerns. I highly recommend AQM Masonry & Contracting. PC, a returning client.

The project took about a week to complete, which was faster than initially expected, and the quality of the work was exceptional. I've been an architect for 30 years so I've inspected a lot of construction work and I can honestly say that the retaining wall exceeded my expectations in every way. I expected to get a replica of the original wall but got something far better in both appearance and quality. The team of masons were courteous and finished the project without skipping any days. They also cleaned up every day and left my yard cleaner than they found it when the project was finished. All of my immediate neighbors have complimented me on the wall and I expect to get many more when boating season on the lake begins next May. I solicited multiple bids for the wall project and selected AJ Masonry because they were the most informative and responsive to changes related to the Lynn Conservation Commission and Building Department. They were not the lowest bidder, nor the highest, but they were worth every penny. I can highly recommend them without hesitation.
