We had a lovely day at Broadway Tower. Hiking around the tower and surrounding countryside and then finishing at the cafe next to it. A few things make it great. It's fairly easy to find and parking is plentiful. This is a nice advantage compared to some other places in the Cotswolds. The tower is very cool, and worth a trip inside. They've done a good job on a variety of interesting exhibits.
The food itself is just decent, and it's kind of expensive, probably worth about 4 stars taken together. But the place gets bumped up to 5 for two main reasons. The first is that quality of the service was top flight. The place was very busy, but the food came out correctly and quickly. Second, the location and views are awesome. Lots of great outdoor seating in the most perfect setting. And, in the event that it's raining or cold, there's a fireplace and good seating inside and a lofted area to look down from. read more
