I was searching for vegetarian food in different culture and found Moroccan Flavors, which is located in a food court. There is a collection of Moroccan arts on display. I really appreciate the extra consideration regardless of the congested food court ambiance. Salad sampler is highly recommended. They are very flavorful with the Moroccan spices. I was offered a complimentary mint tea, that was very delicious! Thank you!

This is part of the Midtown Global Market. The food was great, tasted homemade, with a lot of flavors. There's a lot of seating. The menu has a lot on it, and it's popular.

I don't know how many years I have been here, but suffice it to say that since coming here before the pandemic, I have been in love with this place, and post-pandemic is no exception. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the entire Twin Cities, and everytime I come to the Midtown Global Market, despite many choices, I would almost exclusively come here for food. I have been an avid fan of the beef couscous because the beef was very tenderly cooked and extremely tasty. All the vegetables and the couscous along with the beef were able to provide another layer of flavor if one wished for it. I have also tried the lamb shank tagine before, and the tenderness of the lamb was no exception. Coming here has never failed to be an amazing experience. The owner has also been extremely nice everytime, showing lots of care and hospitality. Once after finishing a plate, seeing that I finished it very fast, he provided me with another plate on the house. I thought it was very wholesome. Easily a food spot I would take every visitor to if they come to the Twin Cities!

The owner is friendly and offers great customer service. I'm a repeat customer for over a month or two. The food is healthy, delicious, and unique. The photos are my orders for lamb shank tagine with turmeric rice, a tasty salad is included, and their unique mint tea.

We went to Moroccan Flavors today for the first time. My husband and me were amazed by quality of the food, it was so fresh, so delicious and the owner was so nice and so great with people. I highly recommend Lamb dish with couscous and Beef dish with rice. The appetizer salads that come before the meal were sooo tasty. I can't wait to go back. And price was very reasonable. I don't think I got this type of quality of food and service at the great restaurants!

It definitely transported me back to Morocco. I finally got to try Moroccan flavors because my mom was told they had really good lamb here. I brought her here for lunch and we both enjoyed our meals. My mom isn't very open to trying new cuisines, so I was not expecting her to be amazed but she was! Service was great, the owner is very kind to his clients and definitely appreciative. We got there during lunch time, so he had many orders and due to making us wait a bit longer he brought us a sampler plate. Honestly, we didn't mind waiting but we appreciated the appetizer. Mom ordered the lamb shank tagine and the meat was perfectly cooked, melts in your mouth and lightly seasoned to perfection. Comes with vegetables and cooked with lots of care/love it seems. I ordered the beef couscous and oh my! It was SO good, finally beef that I didn't have to chew so much. The beef also melted in my mouth, I actually finished my entire plate! We will definitely come back soon!

I have three words for you: Moroccan...Lamb...Shank. Period. This is the only place within 100 miles...well I don't know even if you can get this in Chicago...Anyways, if you are a world foodie this is your pilgrimage. No joke. The chef is way cool. His wife is a baker and they're planning to start selling her creations in the same space soon. Well we can't wait. Yes, get the Lamb Shank Tagine (also known as Tajine). It comes with the lamb, rice, and these delectable garnishes like olives and other pickled things that just go pow in your mouth. Of course there a little bits of raisins or currants...well little sweet things. Mix up your bites to get a party in your mouth. The lamb is so tender. Tagine is a slow cooking process with the clay vessel called by the same name. I think they will have this dish in heaven. Oh they will validate your parking. So you can order a second helping of Tagine.

Every time I come to this food market, I stop by Moroccan Flavors. The owner is always welcoming with a smile and the food is delicious! The dish is packed with flavor and I love the balance of the protein, vegetables, and carbs. There is a variety of things to try here. Haven't had a bad bite! Highly recommend visiting this place.

The lamb shank tagine with turmeric rice, couscous, and potato salad was pretty tasty. What makes this even better was that I received the food relatively quickly after ordering. However, the turmeric rice could use a little more flavor. Overall, this place deserves four and a half stars.

We came at 11am on a Wednesday. The food is beautiful and delicious. There are vegetarian options. The guy was so friendly and brought out samples of mint tea. The portions were generous. Definitely would go back.

Mint Tea - perfect for an after meal drink.

Had the lamb shank tagine and it was absolutely delicious! All the sides it came with were also 10/10. The owner was so friendly and kind too! The decor was lovely to look at as well while dining. Great food, great vibes, and absolutely amazing food and service. Definitely recommend.

We got lunch here while we were at the Midtown global market and oh my god, the lamb tagine was absolutely delectable. The lamb was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection and the sides were all spot on! Street parking is fairly easy to find too!

What a lovely little restaurant. This place kind of creates a little vibe of its own tucked in the midtown global market. We were greeted by a nice man, who explained the dishes to us and we ended up splitting the beef tagine. We were on a little adventure to try a few places and this one didn't disappoint. The stewed beef was rich with flavor and paired beautifully with the prunes. The little side salad was refreshing and the rice was nicely fragrant but delicate. We wanted more but had to save room for other stuff. We really enjoyed it!

We loved every second of our experience here! The decor was amazing, the service was exceptional, the food was to die for. They had a special Valentine's Day menu which included beef Wellington for two, so we got that. Asked if it had sides and they said no. I asked if a veg was possible, expecting frozen, microwaved bland veggies. We got beautifully roasted, seasoned veggies that were amazing. Plus the beef Wellington was melting in our mouths. Cocktails were also exceptional. We had an espresso martini and old fashioned which came with a table side experience. We ended our adventure with the sticky toffee torte which was another exceptional dish. Our server was so kind and so so knowledgeable about every item and restaurant in the owners catalog. It was supposed to be served with crepes and I had visions of Saluf and Sons Yemeni restaurant in Tel Aviv (now closed). Here it was served with a French bread / hot dog bun. Crepe???? I guess French bread and crepes are from the same country, but count me as unimpressed.
