I picked the Italian Cream, and OH MY GOOOODDDDDNESSS, this might have been one of the best cupcakes I have every had (and I have had way too many cupcakes in my lifetime). But, I was surprised to see they have more than these sweet treats. That should have been obvious because of all the savory smells when I walked in (although a little confusing in a cupcake shop). They offer chicken salad, both as a sandwich or in a small container. But there is so much more than that. They offer grab & go meals that I believe change daily; some examples that we saw on the board that day - bacon fried cabbage with sausage, creamy chicken Alfredo tortellini soup, poblano southwest pimiento cheese, Chicken and Dumplings, Homemade Chicken Spaghetti, and several other options. There are also keto options available. Tried both the original and the Harvest Chicken Salad. The Harvest mix was excellent, will get it again. But the original was meh for me, I just didn't enjoy it. So my hint is, ask if you can sample it before you buy one of the chicken salads so you can find the ones that are best for you. And, do NOT leave without a cupcake - you will thank me later.

As you enter, you are greeted by the exquisite aromas of freshly baked sweet bread. Stainless steel trays and tongs are right there for self-service. I have never been here before, but the drill is the same if you have ever been to a panaderia. I was buying in bulk for a party. There is so much to choose from! Cakes can be ordered here for any occasion, and they also make tamales. Definitely need to try those sometime to see if they're righteous. Freshly baked tortillas de harina are prepackaged as well as mexican wedding cookies! Overall, I had fun coming here picking out goodies. I felt like a kid in a candy store! You should definitely drop by as there are, I believe, 2 other locations in the Hou area.

I've been coming here for years and the quality and service has been consistent. The coffee is more…read morepopular for their specialty and seasonal lattes, rather than the coffee quality itself. I used to frequent this place while in college to study. Now I drop in every once in a while to try their new items out. Now to August they have a summer menu, from which we got the lemonade pie, cookie butter latte and tres leches latte. The tres leches latte was okay, it was just milky coffee which considering its tres leches seems about right. I preferred the cookie butter latte as it had a stronger taste of the flavoring. Although I will say we got two cookie butter lattes one with oatmilk one with regular milk and in the oatmilk one the cookie flavor was much more prominent so I would recommend getting oatmilk in it, if you decide to try it. The lemonade pie was really though, I always enjoy the baked goods they have. We went through the drive thru, and were the only ones in line at the time so we were greeted and serviced fairly quickly.

I'm giving Sweet G Bakery 3 stars because while my experiences over the years have become…read moreincreasingly inconsistent, I truly believe these are fixable issues if they choose to address them. The bakery is consistently beautifully decorated. The floral arrangements and thoughtfully designed backgrounds make it a lovely space and perfect for social media photos. It's inviting, charming, and clearly curated with care. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes I'm greeted warmly and helped right away. Other times the experience feels rushed and unwelcoming. Calling in orders has always been challenging. I often have to make repeated calls before someone answers, and outreach through social media is inconsistent. Since this bakery isn't close to me, it's frustrating that I have had to walk in just to place an order on a few occasions. The empanadas de canela are my favorite item and remain a highlight. At a little over $8 for a half dozen, they're delicious and a reliable option. Unfortunately, the cakes have declined in quality over the past few years. They have become noticeably drier than they used to be. The most recent cake I purchased received feedback that it tasted "almost like a dry tres leches cake," which was disappointing. Their rosca de reyes is one of the main reasons I continue to support this bakery; it is truly unique. However, ordering it is unnecessarily difficult every year. While I understand it's a busy seasonal item, after so many years I would expect a better system such as online ordering or dedicated phone support. Sadly, this year's rosca was also dry and not nearly as good as in previous years. I appreciate Sweet G as a small business and genuinely want to continue supporting them. However, rising prices combined with declining quality and inconsistent service make it harder to justify doing so. Sweet G was a 4+ star bakery not long ago. I hope they take an honest look at where improvements are needed so they can get back to that level.

We came through last minute for a family birthday treat…read more Located in the Pearland Town center, there is plenty of parking throughout the lots. There was no line so we were in and out pretty quickly. They had about a dozen different flavors to choose from. Overall the cupcakes were okay. They were moist, everything seemed very fresh. Flavor-wise, nothing really stood out and it could've easily been from Kroger or Target. The fudge sundae tasted a lot like the red velvet. There wasn't a wow factor. For the price, I wouldn't be back. A half dozen was over $30, and these are standard cupcakes, not a the larger variety you might find at crave or Dessert Bar.
