Dryer Repair. Updated Review:…read more Technician, Tony is a small business proprietor. He showed up on a Sunday as promised which was the result of a Saturday call for help. Disassembled pertinent dryer parts. Showed us the parts that were no longer functional. Replaced the part. On our acceptance of his recommendations, replaced some related belts and parts that were clearly worn. Cleaned up and re-assembled. Answered all our questions. His labor and parts charge was remarkably reasonable. He left his card and left us quite satisfied with having the dryer back in service. On the basis of that day's engagement, the experience was 5 Star. His attentiveness, professionalism, and general personality were exemplary. Alas, two weeks later the dryer again stopped heating. Called the number on the card, 720-908-4426, and it went directly to a automated "the box for this number has not been set up". Not a good sign. Went to the site: "Temporarily Closed Until July 31". An even worse sign. This led me to write this review and downgrade his "score" from a 5 to a 2. I did, however, use the email he had on his card to query him. While the phone number was unhelpful, the email worked and Tony got back to me very quickly. Real Life had and has imposed itself on him, requiring that he abruptly suspend business until the personal issue can be resolved. Based on his prompt and clarifying email, I raise his rating to 4; it should be a 5, and would be if (a) he had set up his phone messaging properly and/or (b) he'd posted a clarifying message on his web site. Neither oversight has anything to do with the quality of his work which was first rate. I suspect the exigencies of his emergence led to those oversights. While I'll likely have to get another service provider because Tony won't be available for a month, I'd wait for him if I could. I unequivocally endorse him and his work. Once he has resumed business, if I have any appliance issues in the future (which are inevitable) I will make him my first call. Life happens to us all.

I had a vision in my head of what I wanted, but put off the project for years due to procrastination and also the dread of figuring out how to hang them (to perfection). My friends told me to do it myself and save some money, but just the thought of the anxiety it would give me, put me off. Especially because if I did it, and it came out crooked, I'd have to look at it everyday. I couldn't handle that. But then one day, when the frames (Crate & Barrel) I wanted were on sale, I was spurred with motivation to just get it done. I hopped on Thumbtack, and sought out a professional. It was there I found HandyDux. Larry responded promptly and happened to be available to come do the work the very next day. While Larry didn't have the most reviews, he's had glowing reviews, which told me that he's detailed oriented and knew what he was doing. Larry came by and he was a DELIGHT. He was friendly, personable and simply a pro. He took time to measure out each frame individually and used a laser leveler to ensure the frames were level to the millimeter. I now have 21 frames hung in my home and they are SPOT ON. I would recommend Larry to anyone and everyone for framing needs. Larry's on my speed dial! He also is super handy too, so contact him for minor home repairs - he'll do an excellent job!

I called Jim after business hours, and to my surprise, he responded within the hour. After asking a few key questions, he pretty much diagnosed the issue over the phone. He never tried to upsell or push anything unnecessary--just straightforward, professional service. Everything you read about him in the Google reviews is absolutely true. I feel lucky to have found him. With other companies, I easily could've been out a few thousand dollars. Jim fixed everything within a day and made it look effortless. Brake, signal and tail lights were sporadic at best. Not only was Mark able to diagnose the problem very fast, he also had the wiring and harnesses to fix the problem right on the job site. Oh yeah, he also came to the trailer location, which is a great bonus especially when I was dealing with electrical issues. Not only did he fix the electrical problem, but he also spotted a problem with the old brake line on the trailer and was able to replace those at the same time. This really could have been a major problem that I could have faced on the road. In summary, Mark (and Mobile Diesel Medic) was VERY professional, extremely knowledgeable, and really friendly. As I have said on a different review... Mark is also the type of guy you wouldn't mind having a beer with. (Of course, after he works on your vehicle).
