I'm really disappointed. I called before arriving and let them know I was driving out here to get my tires filled up with nitrogen. I showed up and they said the techs leave at 6pm! The lady on the phone should have known to tell me that service is open until 7pm but techs leave at 6pm. I asked her. I need the service dept. she said this is the service depot. So then why is service even open? The man in Chevy service was watching tv. The Chrysler side where he sent me couldn't help either but at least they were working. Absolutely not customer service helpful. I would have said let's go. I'll help you fill them up or SOMETHING. I have to drive pretty far to get there. This place (Moritz Chevrolet) made an appointment for me to have recall work on my car. The appointment was made by them for Saturday morning. My arrival time was at 8:00 and I arrived on time. When I arrived, I was told that I wasn't in their computer and would have to wait for a couple of hours until someone showed up to fix it. It is now 11:00 and surprise! I am still sitting around. Customer service seems to be non existent. To top it off I had to spend 150.00 on a replacement key fob. Total waste of a Saturday morning. I ask who I am speaking with and he replies "Mark, who am I speaking with?" Had to get a hub bearing replaced on my Chevy car. Made the appointment online and then got an email saying somebody from the service department would call to confirm my appointment or let me know if there was an earlier opening. Nobody called. Show up for my appointment. Service tech was in a huge hurry, which is fine when there's a crowd at opening. Service tech asked if I was okay with the automatic $128 diagnostic fee that was discussed on the phone. I told him I never got a call, but I signed anyway because I'm already there and I really needed my car fixed. Courtesy shuttle was awesome, and the only thing about this dealership that's worth 5 stars. That older gentleman was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Before leaving the dealership, I was told they would call with an estimate for the work, and it should be done in a few hours. 6 hours later, no phone call. I call the dealership, get bounced around the phone tree a little bit where I found out there was a "hold for authorization" on my car that could've been resolved earlier. Left a voicemail with service tech, and to his credit he called me back. Told me it would be a couple of hours and he would call me when my car is ready. Three and a half hours later, no phone call. I call service tech's direct line and leave a voicemail. Husband and I start to head to the dealership, and we're half-way there when the service tech calls me back to let me know my car is ready. The attempt at washing my car was a nice gesture, but the job was sloppy and I had to re-wash it. I probably won't be a repeat customer to this dealership, even though it is the closest one to my home. I will drive the extra miles for service that goes the extra mile. read more

My vehicle has been to this shop for the past three to four months. first repair, oil consumption test, failed and repaired. second repair, overheated on my way home from repair (was told that they did not burp the system after repair). third repair, vehicle still stalling at stop in drive (was told that a hose came lose and they could not find the issue). Fourth repair, loud engine after repair (lifters replaced). fifth repair, engine overheating with check engine light (was told that coolant was located within my cylinders and that they put the head gasket on incorrectly). after all these repairs, received the vehicle back with a dent in the left front fender. I now have the vehicle and am being told by mortiz management that i have to return the vehicle to them at my expense as the vehicle still surges and stalls with an oil light on. within all of these repairs this vehicle has not be driven more than 5000 miles. read more

I have bought a vehicle from the Moritz family of dealerships before and had a pleasant experience so when it was time to buy again, I headed to their GM dealership to give them first crack at my business. My wife and I were greeted by a salesman named Gabe. We had done some research ahead of time and had decided on a Chevy Equinox. He took us around the lot and showed us the vehicles he had and my wife found one in the color she liked, so we started by just asking for a quote. Now granted, we were better prepared than most, since we knew we qualified for GM preferred pricing and loyalty. So although he asked the obligatory questions, we knew what kind of price we should be getting. He immediately went on the offensive, asking what it would take to seal the deal that day. We responded that we wanted to do more research before we committed. He obliged, introduced us to his manager, and led us back outside. Turns out the vehicle on the lot wasn't here ideal vehicle, since there were features it was missing that we really wanted. So Gabe continued to search for a vehicle that met our needs. He had a few leads, but they never did pan out. It'd start out with a hopeful morning and end with a disappointing call in the evening. In defense of Gabe, the vehicle and color is extremely popular, and inventory moves very quickly. In the end we got our car from another dealership, but would still recommend shopping at Moritz. read more

The Service Department is a complete JOKE! I've purchased 3 brand new vehicles from here, each with a leather install. Going on 4 weeks now and my leather still isn't finished. They took 2 weeks to place my order due to negligence. They then installed the wrong leather. The customer service is despicable. They get the order wrong, they argue and place blame on you, they won't even show you where the loaner vehicle is, and most have no idea what's going on throughout the day. Downright LAZY. They need to fire the department and hire a new set of employees. Never buying here again. read more

Last year we bought a Ford vehicle from this location and from what I am now learning, it seems unusual that Moritz sells Ford vehicles because along with the vehicle we also purchased a warranty. Well, I can tell you that the sale went smoothly but 10 months later I need to place a warranty claim and its like pulling teeth. I've been trying to initiate a warranty claim for a week now and still no dice. The service department tells me that Ford equipment is not available to diagnose and repair the vehicle and Ford dealerships tell me that Moritz has to repair the vehicle; a classic round-a-round. I just bought a 2016 Tahoe from Moritz, and I couldn't be happier! Our salesman, Michael Ross, was super helpful and stayed with us past closing to get us the deal we wanted. I truly feel he was on our side and not working against us. The service and attention he payed us was on point! The manager also made a point to introduce himself and congratulate me on my new car. All car deals take some times, but I do feel they were quick in getting back to us on any negotiating. I had the WORST experience here and will NEVER be back. The service guy I dealt with was Ryan Byers. He explicitly lied to me by telling me he was not able to look up what was covered under my warranty without charging me a diagnostic fee ($135). I called another dealership and they were able to tell me in about 2 minutes what was covered under my warranty. I was told I would have a diagnosis in 2 days but it took 4! On the day I was supposed to pick up my car I got a call that something else was wrong and they tried to charge me $400 to fix it. I was told I needed to come back after a part was ordered to have a recall repair completed. I was told if I came in first thing it would take an hour. No problem. I was the second vehicle in line. Two hours later I'm still waiting. It'll be another half hour. It was assigned to a tech that didn't come in. How do you give a vehicle to someone who isn't at work AND NOT TELL THE NOW FORMER CUSTOMER ABOUT THE DELAY?!? There are plenty of other dealerships in the area. read more

Update: so now where in 2017 and my 2016 Malibu is in for the 10th time back into service so recap on the giant door ding left on my car not only did they half ass fix it they also didn't paint it the right color and when I told there manager about it he replies and says give it a week it will all match so your telling me in a week my car is going to change colors ? Then my two free oil changes I got where okay until I went to do my own oil change after the first two free ones to only find out my oil pan is leaking and figuring out that the oil leaking is caked and burnt onto the pan for it leaking for so long but I wonder why i was never notified that it was leaking when they did the first two oil changes.? So I contact pauches there manager and explain it to him and he proceeds to lie like always and says he's gonna fix it . You would think after 10 times over being in there over and over on there mistakes it would be perfect but no I get my car back to find out the oil filter I had put on the car ( complete different brand then the recommended ) on purpose to test there integrity was still left on there pauches continued to tell me the oil pan was drained for 1 quart and that 1 quart was reused to put back into my motor . Hmm so your telling me you drained my oil pan to fix my gasket the same oil in the pan that was exposed to dirt and debree from leaking you put back into my motor vs using new oil and doing a complete oil change and changing out the filter as well ? At this point he raises his voice like the big bad wolf he is just to in forme me he is not wrong and that's what GM requires for them to do I then end the call and contact GM who informs me that what he's saying is in fact NOT true . Please save your self a heart attack and buy your vehicle else where. I really wish I could give this place 0 stars . My car buying experience was excellent unfortunately you can't say the same thing about there service department I take my brand new 2016 in for A/C repair and I get it back with a giant ding on my door and then they still try to deny it and pawn the vehicle back on me to take it as it was which I said no to then I got the run around from there service Forman and there main service manager who answers the phone with " yeah what's up" when I'm trying to get answers on why my car has a dent on the door for A/c repair. The repair shop at Moritz is not helpful at all. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I had an inquiry about a field bulletin, they were very quick to dismiss it as not being covered under the cars warranty. A little skeptical I called the Chevrolet 1-800 number who was a lot more helpful and actually got me to another Chevrolet dealer to get it checked on to see what the issue was. It turns out this issue was covered in warranty. Unfortunatley Moritz is not willing to do any leg work to find you a solution. Very disappointing from a car dealership. read more

This is about their New Sales Dept. Just dealt with these people. Took an hour to get there to waste 3 hours of our lives we'll never get back. 1st Red Flag: Salesman (Andy) walks up to us and immediately says, "Um, I need to let you know that the price on the internet for the car was a mistake. This salesperson had been emailing with my husband back and forth all day and waits til we get all the way out there to tell us the price was a "MISTAKE." Says it has been corrected to about $2000 more than what it was being advertised for." Ummmmm, really? 2nd Red Flag: They would not, could not, refused, to give us the appraisal amounts on our 2 trade-ins until AFTER they knew the exact dollar and cent amount of our pay-offs. Really? Any other dealer we've dealt with didn't care how much we owed on our cars. What they were willing to give us for trade-in is "what they were willing to give us", no matter what we owed on them. You give the person what their car is WORTH. 3rd Red Flag: I went in with print-outs of KBB's estimated trade-in values of both our trade-in vehicles. One showed $15,951 and one was $19,793; and I was being modest and used only the "GOOD" condition option to get the value. not "EXCELLENT" and not "VERY GOOD". Even though both vehicles ARE in excellent condition. AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE THIS FACT! They offered us $11,000 and $17,000. REALLY? The manager never once came out to speak to us and tell us why they were trying to rob us. I asked our salesman to go ask the manager if he would come up on the trade-in values and he did go ask (of course). He came back and said "No", the sales manager won't budge AT ALL. Again, no show of respect to us by coming out and speaking to us and let us know why he was being so GREEDY. I absolutely PROMISE you that they would have bought our vehicles from us at $11,000 and $17,000, and turned around and sold them on their used lot for at least $16,500 and $22,500. A $5,500 profit on EACH vehicle. I'm sorry, Mr. Sales Manager, that you insisted on trying to hose us and make a killing on our cars.What happened to making a fair profit on each customer? Instead, you tried to make a KILLING off ONE customer. Or maybe you were just trying to make up for your $2,000 "MISTAKE" on the price of your new car, plus some! We've purchased probably 25+ vehicles between me and my husband over the years, and this was the worst experience we've had. All other dealers have been fair, have not used bait and switch tactics, nor have they based their valuation of our trade-in based on what we still owed on them. Nor have they just LET a customer walk out, who would have been an easy sale if the salesman/sales manager had just worked a little harder to meet them halfway! Sheesh!!! I want to use the word "CROOKS!", but I'm too nice. If you read this and STILL decide to buy from these people, then you have no one to blame but yourself. You've been warned! read more

They all seemed way too busy to schedule a service visit or didn't offer a shuttle service to get me home after a drop off. Unreal. Then I talked to Dick in sales and Kevin in service at Moritz and knew I had found my new dealer for service for my new car as long as I live here. Kevin was honest that they were busy, but if I could leave it, he would have his guy get on asap. Sure enough, next day, they diagnosed, fixed, and had me on the road. Kevin was great to deal with as well as the gals at the cashier counter who were super efficient. Don't think I had to spend more than 5 minutes waiting at either visit. I was interested in trading 2 cars for one Pre-owned Tahoe. I initially spoke with Juan Martinez in pre owned which was a very poor experience. However, Juan sent me to new cars where I spoke with Barry Bisset. Barry was very kind and patient, and was upfront and honest with me. We didn't end up buying new but we came back to Moritz the next day to go back to pre owned because of Barry. We then spoke with and purchased from Eric Smalley. Eric was very personable and was not pushy or aggressive. He seemed genuine and was also patient and worked with us to get what we needed. He even let us test the Tahoe we wanted for a day just to be sure. We came back to purchase and worked with Kenny (Kahn I believe is his last name) and also had a good experience with him. Our financing took longer than usual, and he was patient and efficient, attempting to get us what we needed. He also went over extra coverages without pushing them on us, and explained any questions I asked. Overall I would return to Moritz to work with Eric or Barry and Kenny again. They made a potentially really annoying and long experience as pleasant as they could! read more

I would give them ZERO if that was possible. I DID NOT EVEN BUY A CAR FROM THEM and am HAVING MY CREDIT PULLED EVERY WEEK....despite the fact that I cancelled the deal over a month ago! I have called several people WHO HAVE BEEN UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO STOP PULLING MY CREDIT. This should be AGAINST THE LAW!! These people are acting CRIMINALLY! I am UNABLE TO QUALIFY for credit with SO MANY OF THEIR INQUIRIES!! We were going to have a deal...until I inspected their car!! It had a bent rim, messed up undercarriage and had many items broken or in disrepair on the inside of the vehicle. We filled out an app and took a test drive. i told them to forget it....so WHY WOULD THEY EVEN PULL THE CREDIT? I have spoken to several people who say they will, "...ensure this does not happen again." BALONEY!! They next day I get more turn downs coming from THEIR LENDERS!! This has happened 4 times now...this is not an accident. DO NOT BECOME THEIR NEXT VICTIM, as I did-you should READ REVIEWS!! There is a reason so many people find them disgusting!
