I brought my 3.0 Duramax in for a simple oil change and was met with complete indifference. I sat in the service bay while employees sat at their desks eating pizza, pretending not to notice customers waiting. No greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. I finally had to go inside just to get checked in, and that set the tone for the rest of the visit. More than two hours passed with no communication. When I asked the cashier for an update, she snapped that I needed to find my own service advisor. I walked to the service area and found that my advisor, Atle Fjugstad, was nowhere to be found. His office was empty while my completed truck sat outside. They had finished the work and simply never bothered to tell me. That level of disregard is not a mistake; it is a culture. Avoid this dealership at all costs The service department is an absolute joke. I filed my first warranty claim seven months ago and have since left 12 voicemails. Not one has been returned. I have a brand new Colorado that is leaking a quart of oil a month, the latest OTA update drains the battery if it sits for 48 hours, and there is a dent in the roof from their carwash, which is a known issue with a service bulletin. They have made and canceled multiple appointments. I am now completely without a working vehicle, no loaner, no updates, and no timeline. To make matters worse, I recently found out my service advisor flat out lied to me. Back on February 11th, he told me I was on the waitlist for a loaner. I wasn't. He never submitted anything. I only finally received an email promising a call "first thing Monday" after filing official complaints with the Texas Attorney General, the BBB, and GM. Of course, no one ever called. Total silence ever since. The sales experience was great, but everything after that has been a complete dumpster fire. This is hands down the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. As stated in many other reviews, the customer service in the service department is terrible. The communication is awful as they do not provide any updates unless you can get ahold of them. When you're able to get them on the phone, they either give you an unrealistic timeline, or they have nothing to provide. They are unapologetically dismissive and make no effort to find a solution. After speaking with the service manager, it is very clear that that behavior is modeled by their leadership. I have NEVER received such terrible customer service and have been a customer of multiple dealerships. The Body Shop and Service Department are terrible. I would not recommend them for any repairs. At one time, they were wonderful, but have changed over the past 6 or so years. They do not take pride in their work and lack integrity from my experiences. Not very trustworthy.. I have tried giving them the benefit of doubt by using them several times, then having to take my vehicle elsewhere to get structural and mechanical issues resolved. One steering issue that was made worse by a front end alignment they preformed...Two separate other instances where internal damage was overlooked at the Body shop. The Service Department customer service skills are non existent as well. The attitudes are not acceptable behaviors. I truly to do not like to leave bad reviews. My past experiences have been awful with Moritz. I hope changes will be implemented soon. read more

I took my 2023 Chevy Bolt to Moritz for 30 month maintenance and safety recall. Got the car back the next day and was told they rotated the tires and everything was good. Drove the car home and heard an unusual noise from the front end. Took the car back and was told they could not hear the noise or find anything wrong. So I took the car to another repair shop and within 15 minutes they test drove the car and found the problem (CV axle loose). Cost to repair estimated at $890. I'm very disappointed that the mechanics at Moritz were unable to find this obvious problem that was not there before I took it to them. I have called twice to discuss this with both the service agent and service manager with no response to my voicemail from either. read more

Bought a new (11 miles) 2019 Silverado with extended warranty. Love this truck! Always had all of my service work done at Moritz. 61,500 miles and 4.5 years old (6 months of warranty left) I had to take it there today for a check engine light and weak battery with a dash readout of Brake system failure, max speed 62. Told me I had to leave it for at least 3 days to diagnose the light! Then they will see if it is covered under extended warranty and let me know how long to fix. And no loaner, no rental. I have never been so disappointed at the lack of give a damn that I got today at this dealer. I even called corporate to complain and they made excuses for them. I am embarrassed to say I ever gave them my business. Never again! If you want to get a vehicle from them I hope you can afford to get 2! First time customers at the service department, and was disappointed by the way a simple request was handled. Just wanted a cut and dried oil change, my husband and I thought it would be quick. Sure wasn't. Called at around 10am to ask if we needed an appointment to get the oil changed on our Chevy. We were told we didn't need one, but no one knew if they were leaving early today. I get if it's a slow day you might not stay, but I had to ask the service rep how soon we should be there. I was told that they would be closed by 3pm IF they closed early. So we finished our errand and arrived at 12pm. Now I have an issue. We were the ONLY car in the service drive. Only waited a minute or two before someone came out to assist, filled out the form since we didn't purchase the vehicle from that dealer and went to wait in the lounge, where there was ONE other customer waiting. The oil change took AN HOUR AND A HALF. We have no idea why. No one told us anything, no explanation was given, and there was no apparent reason for it. The only other customer in the lounge was waiting just as long! And we overheard the service man telling him about his replacement battery. I hope that wasn't the only thing being cared for on his car, because that's just as ridiculous! What kind of customer service doesn't communicate with their customers, and takes that much time on vehicles where the owners are waiting in your lounge?! People wait because they expect it to be fairly quick, and believe it or not we did have other things to do today. I will never bring my car here for servicing again. read more

My 2018 Traverse has an issue with the brake lights staying illuminated which was very dangerous for driving at night. $300 later and THREE days of keeping my car they finally got it taken care of. Went to pick up a TRD Pro yesterday that I bought, I live south of Austin and drove all the way to sign papers and pick my truck up to take home just to find out they replaced the 2 rear tires but left the 2 front tires with less than half the life left... He stated that they would not be able to look at my vehicle today (I can appreciate that and get it) but here is the kicker I would have to wait a week and a half for a loaner vehicle! I mean really now? You are the ones that are backed up. I should not have to wait a week and a half for a loaner vehicle. So I said okay let me speak to a Manager. Yes I said a manager which is NOT what I got. I believe his name was Pachus and I asked him the same question. When I asked him was it not Chevy policy to give out a loaner for service work he cold he told me they were NOT CHEVY. And yes WORD FOR WORD what was said. YOU ARE NOT CHEVY? THEN WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!!! Yes I get it you are a dealer, that works for Chevy. But who do you represent? GUESS WHAT CHEVY!! Listen I own a business. So posting a review takes up my time, and my money. Your dealership is absolutely CRAP. You never tell a customer you aren't the product you represent. You don't send someone out who can't even take a full service request either. Also you don't make them wait 10 minutes for someone to even address them when they are in the Service Drive. The policy of not giving out a loaner car also violates my warranty as you are refusing to do what is guaranteed within the contract. It is not like Chevy will not pay your lousy dealership back. And trust me - I get the whole easier on you guys to make an appointment, and I get you can't have a fleet of cars. But even Chevy told me you guys could easily had Enterprise rental provide a vehicle if it was under warranty. OTHERS WITH COMPLAINTS - Those who are like me and absolutely hate crap like this coming from a dealer. Your only way to fix this shitty behavior is to complain directly to Chevy. Chevy will then also escalate this but most importantly they will start dinging the financial incentives they give this dealer. In those 5 days I received emails and texts confirming my appointment, no one took the time to tell me they DO NOT do any other work on Saturday , other than oil changes - I clearly stated it was my check engine light on the online form. When I arrived the attendant asked me if I was leaving it until Monday, I questioned out of confusion, he rudely gave a yes or no response and walked away. I'm a single mom, I teach in a district outside of Fort Worth so I am not virtual anymore, and I don't just have a second car, husband, or family within 100 miles to rely on. If I was informed ahead of time, I could have made an appointment on a busy Saturday elsewhere. Moritz service department is TERRIBLE!! I came in for an oils change, I spoke with Ryan it seemed as if I was really a burden for this guy. He told me I can't leave my truck to be serviced because they don't accept vehicles after a certain time. They also couldn't get me into a loaner and if I did leave my tuck it would take longer because it gets pushed to the back of the line due to me not being there waiting on my truck. So bottom line is....you can't schedule an appointment, you can't get a loaner, you have to stay in the waiting room in order to get any kind of service. Which is backwards if you ask me do to the virus you would think they would want to keep the waiting area to a minimum to help reduce the chance of spreading the virus. read more
