I hired Moriah for two bathroom remodeling jobs because their bid was one of the lowest. I also liked the fact that Eran was not a pushy salesman. What I didn't like was that they asked me to pull the permit, or I would have to hire their inhouse design firm and pay extra, so I went along and pulled the permit. Another thing I didn't like was that they didn't include any materials in their bid, not even grout. At any rate, I decided to give them a chance. After I pulled the permit, I asked for a start date and I was given one with a 2-hour time window. On the day of the scheduled date, nobody showed up. I texted the operations manager, and she said, it was rescheduled for next week because their guys are busy at another job. I don't mind the delay in starting, but I did mind not informing me. When I asked why she didn't inform and that I was almost thinking about canceling because it's a bad sign. She said, "we are 100% fine if you cancel it." No apology or anything. Their attitude was like we don't give a damn. So I did cancel. Guess what, as expected, they won't return the $1000 deposit, because "it was beyond the 3-day cancellation period" even though they didn't do any work. I also checked their license status. They currently have two recent judgments against them, which they appealed. Bear in mind, it takes a long time for the licensing board to resolve complaints, so the contractor can buy time by just appealing whatever judgment is issued against them. They might tell you it's the customer's fault, which they have a tendency of doing. If you hire them, be ready to work with someone who doesn't give a damn about customers. read more

My bathroom was remodeled by Moriah. It is now much more modern and minimalistic than it was before. I have new flooring, sophisticated recessed lighting, LED lighted mirror and a brand-new floating vanity that has a spa look with the wood door and above counter sink. The entire bathroom was painted a pretty blue color including the walls and ceiling. Even the door was re-painted white. I also have a new toilet bowl. Eran, you are a charlatan. The reason why the board drop my case was because I proceeded to get a new contractor to finish and repair your work, before someone from that board could inspect your sub's work. That was my mistake! Your company has had a ton of complains but they get easily dropped because of technicalities that usually end up in the favor of the contractor. The board makes it nearly impossible for thy client to win a case. Not only do you have to wait until the board inspects first, which could take months, but a client needs to submit extremely detailed documents, which I did! In the end, contractor almost always walks away free and clear. You know you're a thief, Eran. Thankfully, God has continued to bless me and my business. We are thriving because we are honest. You got away with murder and continue to do so, as you rip people off that don't know better. All I can do is warn others to stay away and at anyone's request, can provide facts to my statements. My attorney didn't drop anything. I have emails, texts and documents that proof otherwise. Be careful what you are stating as I can also sue you for defamation. You are falsely stating I owe you money. Watch yourself and your words. read more

We remodeled the kitchen, bathroom( to the studs),removed all asbestos and replaced all flooring in house, then it was painted throughout. Guliano was very friendly, professional, and very competent with our design. Some of his contracted labor was not. Plumber #1 plumbed tub without hot water and an non working valve and tip toe. Flooring was Incomplete. Plumber #2 fixed it all. Flooring was finally fixed. Guliano made sure it was to our liking and we LOVE it all. It's beautiful! Even with the 3 months extension. read more

I was extremely pleased with the work Eran and his team did on our town home. We had new flooring and baseboards put in as well as painting throughout. From the beginning, Moriah had the best quote and Eran was extremely organized throughout. They finished the work a week ahead of schedule and left the place looking clean and beautiful. My husband and I met Eran about a year ago when we decided to do work on the house. My friend recommended him to us. We remodeled our guest restroom and made a bigger walk in closet. We have several fireplaces in the house which we actually never used. So when we asked Eran to remove one of the fireplaces that was connected to the walk in closet in the bedroom, his idea was to move the wall between the closet and fireplace to make a bigger space. To make a long story short, my husband has a great new walk in closet now and we got rid of one fireplace for a reasonable price. I normally do not take the time to write a bad review, for the most part, I walk away from a bad experience feeling I learned something in the process and that is a win for me, but in the case of Moriah Remodeling I felt I had to say something. My initial impression of Trish and Bo was extremely positive, they showed up for the initial walk of the project on time and seemed genuinely interested in our project. Within a day, I had received a very professional-looking quote. I called within the 30 days the quote was good to let them know I had decided to move forward with the project, I wanted to make a small adjustment to the project, to make one section smaller than what was originally planned, I was told that Trish and Bo would be back out to see me, and they would bring the contract to sign. On the day they were to be here, they did not show up, nor did they call to say they would not be able to make it. I called and was told one of them had a family matter to attend to, which I totally understood. The visit was rescheduled and again when the day came, they were a no-show and no call. I called and was told that they were trying to get an accurate quote...???? I had a quote and was within the 30-day time frame... regardless, I was more upset with the fact that I had to move appointments around to meet with Trish and Bo, and they had not taken the time to tell me they were not coming. I called Rob (not sure what his title is) he placed me on hold and Aaron got on the line. Aaron gave me a series of excuses as to why a new quote had to be done and when I finally pushed on what the new price would be, it was almost double the initial quote. We will not be using Moriah nor will we be recommending them to others, at this point, it wasn't so much about the price (though this was very upsetting) but more about their lack of professionalism and transparency. read more

My lovely 1935 home has recently undergone major improvements, which are beautiful as well as practical. The work was performed by Moriah Remodeling & Construction. My 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has had a great deal of upgrades, over the years, including all new electrical panels and wiring, foundation retrofitting, central air and heating, paverstone walkways and driveway, a new back yard patio, dual thermal windows, new roof, new insulation, etc. The kitchen cabinets were installed sometime in the 1950's and were made of knotty pine and stainless steel counter tops. They looked old and didn't do justice to the space. I had a vision of removing most of the long wall dividing the kitchen from the dining room, to create an open space, where visitors could easily pass from the dining room to the kitchen. I also wanted an arched entrance, with an arch at both ends of the wall. I shared this idea with Eran Saida, of Moriah Remodeling & Construction, and he immediately began to design a new kitchen on his tablet. His ideas were very modern, and included all new plumbing, electrical, lighting, cabinetry, flooring and appliances. read more

Lots of attitude, had a meeting with Eran the other day and would not even give me a ballpark figure and said that anyone who does is a hack. Kept saying "let me tell you something" over and over while talking down to me, and kept trying to sell me their architectural and engineering design services. He did say that that if they got the job they would refund half the design cost, like they were giving me some kind of deal. He brought a tape measure and never took any measurements and by the end a was done with him and just being polite. In my opinion not very professional and not someone I would ever do business with. read more
