I give the manager credit for apologizing and doing what she could but Expats beware. If you're craving a good steak, save your $ and go to Wolfgang's. I understand that things are different here in the PI. I'm amazed that there is so much variety among restaurants. But it is not the fault of the locals when the restaurant company gives them cheap tools and products just to cut costs! Bad cooking is something else, though. A horrible experience at a Mesa restaurant actually made my wife go back in the kitchen and show the chef in training how to make adobo! Overall, I love the PI and the local cuisine. Prices are on the high side, but seem worth the expense. Inside, the establishment is bright but fairly neutral in hue, with a design that is modern and attractive but not quite a standout. Service is good, with the waitstaff attentive even for customers in the outside area (which is where you can have a cigarette to go with your coffee). The location, on the veranda of the mall's second floor, gives a good view of the SM by the Bay area. Come near sunset and the appeal increases dramatically.

Their website has a useful chart of ostrich fun facts to get you used to the idea. Not to worry, if your stomach says yes but your mind is less adventurous, for now at least, good old Angus beef burgers and chicken wings are also on the menu. Talagang awesome. Three Sisters has been an institution in Kapitolyo way before Kapitolyo became a popular food hub. Think 70s. This restaurant was built on the tender, smokey deliciousness of its pork and chicken barbeques. My God, those barbeques. When I was still living in Kapitolyo, it wasn't an unusual thing for me to buy two barbeques, then walk around the neighborhood while chomping on to them. I didn't care. Three Sisters used to be located close to the intersection, in a structure that has seen better days. However, they have since moved to a new joint that is brighter, airy, and snazzier. SO much better.
