Right smack in the middle of the dinner rush, my dad and I were searching for somewhere nice to eat that wasn't full of people, yet not so empty that doubt was cast upon the restaurant. We passed by Holy Cow and noted 2 things: it had a few empty tables, and it had steak. Perfect.
Or so we thought. We ordered a steak and chops meal to share, and while the pork chop was good, the steak was ridiculously tough. Sure, it was cooked just right and the juices dripped out when pressure was applied, but it's impossible to enjoy your meal if with every bite you try to chew your food longer than necessary, but end up swallowing it whole anyway because it refuses to succumb.
Would consider coming back, because there were some interesting items on their all-American menu that might be better. At least I'll know the next time to get a less problematic kind of food. You know, something that doesn't take forever to cut. read more
