    Estelle is nice but way to expensive and needs some work with the staff to address problems better…read more I was the first few tenets in the apartment complex. The gates never worked. Paid $50 for a key fob for the gate not to be working half the time. People's cars was getting stolen/broken into and all they told us to do was to make sure we locked our cars. They never put up cameras to fix the problem or to at least see who was doing it. I had put my 60 day notice in and my water bill shot up. It was $116 for my 1 bedroom apartment with me just living in there. Called and finally got them to credit my money after being asked multiple times if I had a water leak which I knew I didn't and also the water company bringing up in the email how she's seen I've put my notice in!!! (Why does that matter) My water bill for June/July was again $100 for just me, I called again and all they could take off was $14. I bought a house and moved at the beginning of June but still continued to pay for my rent for another month. Paid everything I had to be done with the complex and I get told I had to pay $87 for a water bill for the month of June 1st /July 14th when I wasn't even using the water but for 3 days of the cycle because I had moved out June 3rd. Called and all I was told was since they don't have a meter the water bill gets split up between apartments and gave me a number to call about the water and it went straight to voicemail. You shouldn't be charging a 1 bedroom apartment for water as the same as a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment. I just find it really strange how my water bill was $40 to $50 the 2 years I've been there but the moment I turned in my notice to leave it shot up to $100. If you're looking for apartment complexes do yourself a favor and go elsewhere unless you wanna be paying $100 a month for a water bill for a 1 bedroom apartment on top of my very expensive rent I was paying.

    The apartment itself and all the fancy amenities (pool, dog spa, plush meeting spaces, courtyard,…read moregarage parking, etc.) are all very nice, but what compelled me to write this review is to compliment the office staff, Ashley, Konar, Jamie, Cassandra, Lexi, Amy and others (forgetting some names, sorry!) who are the absolute BEST at what they do. What they do is bend over backwards to help each and every tenet feel cared for and at home in this massive building where you might expect less given the size. Nope! We made lots of friends here and it was a dream to know I could reach out to anyone, and I mean anyone, who was working that day and get help quickly and with a smile. That's so rare these days, so I had to let the world know. These folks work so hard and I've heard complaints about other nearby apartments being non- responsive to their tenets. I tell them all, come to the Palmer! It's luxury living for sure, but the warmth and attention from the office staff are what take it to the next level. They should ALL get raises! Jobs took us away to North Carolina recently, but we miss the warmth and kindness of the Palmer staff. The maintenance guys are awesome, too. Go live there!

    Warning to anyone booking long stays with this company…read more I tried to book a 30-day stay and they charged my card immediately. Only after taking my money did they tell me the reservation required additional verification because it was over 30 days. I completed the verification process exactly as requested... and they still denied the reservation. Now my money is locked up for 10 days while I wait for the refund to process. Charging a customer first and deciding later whether they're approved is a terrible business practice and creates a huge inconvenience for customers who may need those funds to book somewhere else. I was unexpectedly dealing with a serious illness and needed to stay in Sarasota/Bradenton for treatment. I explained my situation to Kevin Sanchez, who assured me he would help accommodate me. Suddenly, he stopped responding, and I later found out he was no longer with the company. No one followed up, and I was bumped from my unit with nowhere to go. This wasn't the first time Landing failed me. In January, I was displaced for seven days. Their policy states that if you're bumped, they issue a credit toward your next month's rent. Instead, they gave me a $325 credit right before terminating my membership--money I can no longer use. On my last day, I asked the cleaning crew if I could store a few totes in an empty storage closet, and they agreed. Soon after, Landing sent me a cold email stating they were ending my membership due to "pet hair" and leaving items in storage. I never had pets in any unit--I'm highly allergic to cats--so this claim was completely false. Landing left me stranded twice, failed to honor their own credit policy, and terminated my membership based on false accusations. Their lack of compassion and professionalism was shocking.
