I was trying to hire a private duty nurse for help with my recovery. I spoke with Barb Sowski and Colleen Murphy. They said that they were having difficulty finding a private duty nurse, because there were not enough employees relative to the demand. I waited patiently, hoping they would find someone. Several times, I called without receiving a call back. Sometimes, I was called back. However, after June 16, no one called me back, not even to let me know that they couldn't find a private duty nurse. It was very difficult to actually reach someone to speak with, or to get a return phone call. I do not feel I was treated professionally. I feel that I wasted a lot of time trying to work with Vital Wellness to get a private duty nurse, and now I have very little time left to try to find a private duty nurse from another business. I would not recommend them.

I have a "no shoes in the house" policy. One worker came with crocs and no socks. I don't want someone walking on my carpets in their bare feet! Another worker spent too much time on her phone, repeatedly calling her husband, initially to wake him up (apparently after a day of "drinking with the boys"), to make sure he got up, and then to motivate him to head to work. If she would have made up the time I may have not had a problem with her behavior. Managing one's personal life should have been handled on her own time and not in my home.
