Then I heard that someone I used to go to at a different salon was working there, Irena, so I made an online appointment with her. I received several confirmation emails and texts stating that I had a 9:30 am appointment with Irena. When I arrived on the day and time of the appointment I was told that Irena was not in and that Krishna would be doing my brows instead. I did not want her since the last time I went to her she ripped off skin, so I left. I will not be back. It was completely irresponsible for the salon to switch my appointment without my knowledge or consent.

Because when you feel like "My skin needs this" and then you have a long wait or no openings makes you put off treating your skin right. (or maybe its just me). Okay back to the scheduling of this appointment with Aesthetic Theory Detroit (ATD). I click on the tab to request appointment on yelp and I love that right away i was taken to a quick few questions what my concerns were along with a few other questions. Because when deciding on a facial it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what would work. I was happy that it didn't take long before i got a reply back with suggestion what facial would work based on my concerns. I got schedule for a few days later and I was on my way to having a Dermal infusion. Day of my appointment everything was smooth from the minute I walked in, I answered a few questions and then I was taken to a room where my facial started right away. It didn't take long maybe 45min total if you count the time it took me to fill out the information on the ipad, now let me tell you BEAUTY IS PAIN and this might not be for everyone but the end results is so worth. And of course consistency with your skin care regimen is a must, I saw the difference in my skin with just 1 appointment. It also helps that they take before and after pictures so you can see the progress but honestly I saw it after 1 visit. I did schedule for another one in about a month because its a PRICEY but 1's a month you can make it work because your skin will thank you. I loved how i didnt feel pressure to buy anything or like I was being given a sales pitch during my facial. 2 days after the facial I did get a few little breakout but I was told that would happen because of the treatment from the Dermal inusion. But Heather did a fabulous job and i'm looking forward to getting my skin right and the next appointment I have. On June 1, I was notified of an unauthorized purchase at this location (I reside in MN) for nearly $500 worth of rewards points and that an identified person also changed my address to a Detroit address. I called and spoke with their assistant manager, Miranda, about their policy on checking IDs to use rewards points on purchases since this obviously was not followed. She promised that the general manager would follow up and call me when she is back in store. On June 8, Miranda called me about "an advisor position and thought that I was an applicant" and while I questioned her intentions, I asked about Ulta policies once again and promised AGAIN that the GM would be in contact. Since I have left that review on Google, their employees Miranda Whitcomb and Sophie Haynes had Sophie's significant other, Walter Plentis Jr., message me on my personal Facebook page with racist and misogynistic remarks, even going as far as commenting on body, while impersonating a trainer at their local Crunch fitness gym (where he left a bad review mind you). This is harassment. I have yet to hear back from their GM or anyone else regarding this incident or any measures taken to correct this (outside of replenishment of my rewards points). This branch obviously does not care about consumer trust, safety of data/personal information, following proper policy and procedures, or accountability of their employees.
