They are THE place to get your pet's compounded medicines in Austin, but I'm really irked that they…read moresell homeopathic remedies. Homeopathy (not herbal medicine or traditional medicine) is a scam. The "medicine" is water. A pharmacy is a place where we go to get reputable medications from educated medical professionals, not to be ripped off buying scam water. Selling these things is NOT harmless or neutral. People's Pharmacy, you are harming patients. It is unethical to sell homeopathy. Do not reply to my review with anything other than "We're removing homeopathy from our shelves," because I will not change my mind on this. Because of this, and the fact that they're slow AF, I get my cat's meds compounded at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Kentucky unless it's an absolute emergency. Kentucky has the cheap drugs for some reason.

I was greeted and seen promptly for the appointment, and I received a body scan using one of their machines which gives a print out of personal stats including body fat and muscle content, water content, etc. It was really fun to learn a little more about myself and my physical distribution. I also received a recommendation for a supplement to help with mild appetite suppression and fat burn which I am indeed curious to try. On a side note - I didn't look through all the pharmacy items because I was short on time but BOY did they have a selection in there! You have to be careful about just starting new meds because they can interact with prescription medications, but if you got a supplement cleared with your doctor, I'm fairly sure this place would have it. They also have ample parking out front, and are easy to find right off north Lamar.

This is the OG Whole Foods and it remains one of the best! There is surface parking in front but…read moresave yourself the hassle and take advantage of the multi-level underground parking. Keeps your car cooler in the Texas heat and there are shopping cart friendly escalators to get your groceries easily back to the car. The produce selection at this Whole Foods is insane! Any type of produce that you could want or need can be found in either traditional or organic format. They also have an extensive seafood counter with very knowledgeable staff to help you make a selection. With a dedicated area for fresh sushi, a barbecue selection, freshly made sandwiches, prepared foods, a hot bar, and a salad bar all of your grocery needs can be met here. At the front of the store, there's also a fantastic coffee bar so you can remain caffeinated while you shop. They're seating area if you pick up a little something and want to have a bite to eat before or after you get your groceries. There's additional seating upstairs as well as an outdoor area. If you are an Amazon prime member, be sure to shop the sales to save a little bit of money. Weekly specials are designated with a yellow tag, and it shows the sale price as well as the further reduced price for Amazon prime members. And if you are a tourist visiting Austin, one of the more Instagram-able photo stops is at the corner in front of Whole Foods...the ATX sign.

I need Diet Coke and food that is bad for me too. We come here probably once or twice a week. The Amazon return center is super convenient. There's a self serve kiosk too. Major plus. Our second stop is juice land and then the hot bar & salad bar. I like being able to make a "girl dinner" lunch with a couple of bites worth of several things. We typically go to the roof to eat and to let the kids run around the playscape. If anyyyyy corporate Whole Foods people are reading this- can we please update the play area? Maybe add to it? Or make it toddler friendly? I know I'm being picky we just come so much and it would be a dream update.
