Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

Phillips did my roof about 15 years ago. I was installed over clean plywood and now it's leaking…read moreall over. Another company came to do temporary repairs and said it is leaking due to "poor workmanship". He said there are nails in the wrong places including seams. The nails are now popping up so badly that I have to get it torn off plywood replaced. That should not be the case. It's about the long term and it's now costing money to undo bad work.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my skylight installation was handled…read more Before choosing your company, I had estimates from two roofing companies, and at this point I regret not choosing the other contractor. Communication throughout this process has been poor, and what concerns me most is that the skylight installation was left visibly unfinished on the interior of my home. The inside around the skylight was left without proper finishing, trim, or whatever interior work is necessary to give it a completed and professional appearance. As it currently stands, it looks unfinished and frankly terrible. What is also upsetting is that no one followed up with me after the installation to make sure the work was completed properly or that I was satisfied. Payment was taken, the crew left, and I have heard nothing since. From a homeowner's perspective, it feels as though the company collected my money and moved on without ensuring the job was actually finished. I am a single woman managing my home on my own, and I hired a professional roofing company because I expected to be able to rely on your expertise and workmanship. Instead, I feel taken advantage of and left with an installation that does not look complete. I am asking that someone contact me promptly, come out to inspect the skylight installation, and explain what should have been done to properly finish the interior around the skylight. I expect the installation to be completed to a professional standard and do not believe I should be left responsible for correcting unfinished work after paying your company for the project. Please let me know how you intend to resolve this.
