Very cute restaurant but the food was not for us.
Our server was very friendly and recommended 4 small plates, 2 medium plates and 1 big main to share between two people. With the portion size they provided, I think it makes all the sense but this would easily send our bill over £100. We did 2 small and 3 mediums and it was enough because all their dishes are soaked in oil and it sits very heavy on your stomach.
Salt cod churros (£9.5) - the best dish of the night as it went so well with the tomato sauce at the bottom. Highly recommend.
Mussel pil pil (£9.5 pp)- you will be able to see in my picture, the amount of oil that seeps through is enough to make an extra new dish and more. Chilly oil completely overpower the mussels and it's just an oil bomb in your mouth.
Pork jowl (£16) - reminds me of suckling pig. Tasty but the portion is not worth paying 16 quid in my opinion.
Clam Spaghetti (£18) - yummy but small and oily.
Minkfish cuttlefish (£23) - I don't even know what to say. It's just oil (seen in picture) and a few pieces of monkfish. The mush at the bottom is confusing I'm not sure what it is but it's ok because it just tastes like the oil on the top with a bit of chew. read more
