In Spain there are as many styles of tapas to enjoy as kinds of diners. If you like a mix between decent price and something a step up from "pub grub" cerveceria fare, Morao is a nice blend. I liked the mushroom croquetas, and simple fare like a fried egg with ham and Padrón peppers, pate, or a the mixed salad. Like many places in Madrid, could use a better selection of beer. Desserts (chocolate torte, a kind of cannelloni with mascarpone) were decent, too, though not that inventive or large of variety. read more
