Egg toast. The bread is quite fluffy. For added flavor, ask for aceite de chile. It's a bit salty & spicy, a little goes a long way.

Perfect breakfast spot for the typical metropolitan millennial. If you want a break from the heavy Mexican breakfast, this is the place for you. Cocina Mora has plenty of delicious options. If you are still interested in the chilaquiles or huevos rancheros, you're in luck, they're also on the menu. Egg Toast - Toast was extremely fluffy and fresh. The avocado was also especially delicious, not sure if I was just starving or it was the best avocado I've ever had. Instead of salt and pepper, I opted for the aceite de Chile, it gave it just the right amount of Mexican flavor I was searching for. Be careful with the aceite though, it's a little salty and pretty spicy. A little definitely goes a long way. Lastly, the salad is the perfect fresh pairing. Overall a delicious meal, just what I was looking for. Carrot juice - perfectly fresh and delicious. Green juice - also delicious. Coffee - this is where we went a little wrong. Coffee was a little weak for me. My husband on the other hand loved it. Maybe it's just preference ‍ Overall Vibe - loved this place, I def recommend it. It's still pretty new, they're decor is not quite there yet but from the food to the service, it definitely 5 stars. Side note - they were playing some English/Spanish language bangers in there.

We are on vacation to Guadalajara- we wanted some pancakes and waffles so we found this place. The food was super delicious and the place is so cute. The workers are so sweet and the music was on point. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning :)

Good, clean food made with care. Small cozy joint. Great breakfast spot! Quick walk from center or take a bike! It's along the bike path.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We went twice for breakfast. We had the Mora waffles, juevos Mexicanos, blueberry pancakes, and the vegetarian omelette. The presentation was amazing and The food was delicious. The coffee is from Chiapas and is so good we bought a bag to bring home. The two gals that own Mora take great pride in what they do. It was nice visiting with them. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend their restaurant!

This place is permanently closed. I should have looked on Google before I got there today. The phone is not connected anymore either.

I walked 45 minutes to this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon Dec. 1, 2022. It is completely closed, extremely disappointing.

Yes, it's as good as it sounds. I left full but not stuffed or feeling bloated All around the perfect breakfast spot

Food Review: Los Chilaquiles - Guadalajara, Jalisco…read more On my recent visit to Los Chilaquiles, located right in the heart of Guadalajara, I arrived a bit past the traditional breakfast hour, but I was seriously craving some good huevos rancheros and a comforting café de olla. Thankfully, both absolutely hit the spot. Café de olla is a classic Mexican coffee traditionally brewed in a clay pot (olla), infused with cinnamon and sweetened with piloncillo--a deep, rich unrefined cane sugar. The result is a warm, aromatic, slightly spiced cup that feels like a hug from Mexico itself. Their version was delicious. To complement it, they offered me conchas con nata, which was such a treat. Conchas are iconic Mexican sweet breads known for their soft, airy interior and crunchy shell-like topping. Nata is the thick, silky cream that forms when fresh milk is gently simmered--rich, smooth, and perfect for spreading. Together, it's a simple but heavenly pairing. Right away, I noticed that the atmosphere of the place feels warm and inviting--relaxed, friendly, and full of that authentic Guadalajara charm that makes you want to stay a little longer. The service matched the atmosphere perfectly: attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They started me off with a trio of homemade salsas, along with Mexican crema, queso cotija, and a crunchy homemade tostadita. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtful. As I looked around, I even noticed photos of well-known personalities who have visited, which makes sense--the food and experience truly stand out. Overall, Los Chilaquiles delivered amazing flavors, excellent service, a great atmosphere, and that authentic touch that makes breakfast in Guadalajara unforgettable. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
