Peligro is the best brunch spot we dined at while spending three weeks in Guadalajara. After visiting around 10:30 a.m. on a Friday in July, here's my experience going with my five-year-old daughter: 1) Food: Their menu is large and includes traditional Mexican dishes like chilaquiles as well as more international foods like Dutch pancakes or their latte pancakes. My daughter loved the bacon sandwich with ham, avocado, and tomato. She almost are the two big slices! It comes with tasty potatoes and kethcup. I ordered the "Chilaquiles Peligro" and it was tasty. I added a fried egg sunnyside up and it was perfect. 2) Drinks: They have juice, smoothies, milks, coffee, cocktails, beer, etc. My latte was strong as was my mimosa. My daughter LOVED the chocomilk, which tasted more like a milkshake. 3) Service: It was excellent! We were seated right away and got to pick where we sat. A server came promptly and checked in on us throughout. Unlike other spots, we didn't have to wait a long time for our check. 4) Space: At first, it looks like a tiny space. Go through an ivy-covered opening and you'll find a spacious courtyard decorated with plants and a little greenhouse with covered seating.

Excellent place for brunch or lunch, extensive menu, very good selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They have a variety of egg dishes, tacos, smoothies and a few salads, plus you can add sides like extra avocado or a poached egg. The menu contains American and even British dishes (fish and chips!) as well as Mexican offerings and hybrids. The coffee is very good, too. I had the Nasty French, which was a thick slab of brioche French toast drizzled with caramel sauce and chopped peanuts, topped off with grilled banana slices and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A bit over the top, but delicious! Note: they open for Mexican lunch hours, which is basically 9 to 5. So if you're on American time you could come here for an early dinner.

Cute place to grab brunch or coffee. They also have cocktails. I had an iced latte and la bestia which were both very good!

The place is a little hard to find while driving by, but if you're walking you will spot it. Beautifully done. Lots of plants, outdoor seating, relaxing atmosphere. We were sat right away. Coffee and food took a little bit to get but it was worth the wait. We had a hot chocolate, two American coffees, green juice and a mocha. We ate the bacon sandwich, French toast with berries and a breakfast wrap. All fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Peligro Al Fondo is a super cute coffee shop in Guadalajara, plenty of outdoor seating and some seating that's indoor/covered. The food and drinks were delicious. I ordered the avocado toast and it was made so well with amazing flavor and a moka latte.

Excellent service and food. Breakfast sandwich with egg and braised rib was amazing. Cold Moka was very good as well. Ambience was ok, at some point there was a lot of movement because of supplies delivery to the kitchen

One of the best breakfast I had In Guadalajara. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing. I went in for breakfast and I got seated right away on a Saturday morning. One of servers came over and offered pan dulce. I got the coffee pan dulce. It was amazing!! So so good. I love the vibe and the coffee was also good. I definitely recommend. I am so glad I went here.

one of the loveliest places in gdl for a conversation (it's at its best, I think, on a cloudy day.) the brunch and drinks are good too. not the best gdl can offer, but coming here is still very much worth it just for the ambiance

First time here visiting and definitely recommend this place. I started off with an americano grande which was really delicious. For my meal, I ordered chilaquiles with turkey and it did not disappoint. Check this place out if you're in the area.

My first morning there I started off with a Machiatto, a double espresso with frothed milk which is my usual order at the coffeehouses in New York. My wife kicked off the day with one of her favorites, a latte grande. The richness of the flavor without a hint of bitterness blew us away. We'd never tasted coffee like this in New York, or in Seattle for that matter. The owner of Crema di Espresso was the barista that morning, and I started up a conversation with him about Mexican coffee. I learned that it ranks among the finest coffees in the world, better than coffee from Columbia, Brazil, or even Jamaica that produces the renowned Jamaica Blue Mountain. The coffee served at Crema di Espresso is hand sourced by the owner, and roasted by him in a medium dark Italian style. Like a vintage wine, appreciation is in the eye of the beholder. If you live in Guadalajara or are visiting there, the coffee at Crema di Espresso will open your eyes to the pleasure of premium Mexican coffee superbly roasted without the bitterness that you'd expect to find in a coffee with such exceptional full-bodied flavor.
