Very cute corner cafe! Ate breakfast here. Our server was very friendly! Ordered a large latte and was delicious! They bring out a bread/pastry basket! May go back just for the basket!! We were looking for a more American breakfast, the hotel concierge recommended this place. They seated us quickly and service has good. The food was flavorful and tasty however I still didn't get the "traditional American" breakfast I was looking for. Their staple is retried beans; as tasty as they were I miss my eggs and potatoes. Whenever I go on business trips to Mexico this is my go to place when I want to eat somewhere close to my hotel AND has wifi. Yes It is a franchise and does not have "authentic" food but if you want to play it safe, this is a good choice. Salads are good and so are wraps. Micheladas are not so great but smoothies are! I've ordered the appletini and it was so strong I couldn't drink it. From what I noticed, when they're really busy the quality of food and service suffers. Sometimes it takes several times to finally get our bill. I don't mind this is if I want to sit and talk to someone for 2 hours but when I want to be in and out I do mind. read more

We came here because we thought it would be a coffee shop that we could go hang out at and read for a bit during our vacation. It's not really a coffee shop, it's more of a restaurant. And it wasn't the type that has both people reading/doing work and also people there just to eat. We ordered some chai lattes and "rusas" (which are a delicious drink made of lemon juice (or another citrus), squirt soda (or sparkling water), and tequila. They were both pretty good, though plenty of other places in Guadalajara had better rusas in my opinion. The menu consisted mostly of American food, including mozarella sticks and buffalo wings, but they also had some other stuff. I opted for the mushroom panini with french fries. The panini was good, but nothing special. Overall, I give it 3 stars because their internet wasn't working and the server was not very helpful in letting us know. I asked a couple of times and they kept telling me to type in the password that was at the table, but it wasn't working. He finally ended up just saying "oh yeah, i forgot, it's not working right now." It's an ok place and I'm sure if you're from Guadalajara, it could be a cool place to hang out, but I would definitely skip it if I was traveling. read more

I wanted to give a second chance, I read reviews before my giving in. I was one of three that walked in after opening, I noticed 6 servers, moving around ready for opening. I was seated, ordered an Americano coffee, When I asked for a refill I was told it would be another charge. It's not a house coffee. they brought a refill of the house coffee thinking I would not notice it was horrible bitter after tasting. After placing my order about 15 minutes later the food came cold, the second part the tortilla came about five minutes after service. I asked to return the food and bring it hot, server left tortillas on the table. A lot of the reviews that I read pointed to the same issues, I wanted to give a second chance. The manager came up to me and asked me how things were going I explained to her the situation and how disappointed I was. I was also disappointed with amount of servers and still the broom mop dust pan leaning on the table next to me for over 20 minutes and that many servers moving around and nobody thought of putting those away. After my comments to the manager things seem to change again where most servers were ignoring me, I was only charged for coffee, I left leaving 20 pesos for tip. I really like this place, but - as someone else mentioned - forget about the wifi. All of the food we've had here has been pretty good. Just know it's a restaurant and not a coffee house. We've tried the vanilla chai (hot and frappe), mocha, pita ligera, french fries, nachos, veggie wrap, eggs, and hot cakes... all were good. It's not cheap eating, but it's reasonably priced compared to a similar cafe in the area, and the food is better too. It's not really the place to go if you're looking for traditional, local eats... but it's an easy options for travelers. They accept credit cards, the staff is nice, and the establishment is clean and modern. We're vegetarians, so I can't really speak for their meaty dishes. But the food should be pleasing to the typical American vegetarian pallette. read more

I had an excellent meal this evening and I can definitely say it's the best meal I've had since I got here a few days ago. Finally, I've found a restaurant that knows what a Caesar dressing is. They have a gigantic selection of teas and other beverages. The service was fantastic from beginning to end and it was a very short wait for my Chicken Caesar. The chicken was fresh and still warm laid on fresh crunchy and delicious greens. The two-for-one desserts were irresistible but I was only able to eat half at the time. I can't wait to go back soon so I can check out the buffalo wings which I am told have an actual buffalo sauce, something I haven't yet found. read more

Cold soups that are supposed to be hot, Cuban sandwiches that come with cold canned pineapple and cold hot dog inside (who does that?!), add up to a very disappointing experience all around.
