They modeled their fried sandwich after a famous American chain, and they made it better. Plus, you're eating in Mexico, AND you can have a beer with your meal, something American fast food chains just don't do....Boo! The Portobella Mushroom sandwich is awesome too, if you're avoiding meat or just want something different. Good stuff. You can order the sandwich lettuce wrapped if you're avoiding bread and the fries can be substituted out for veggies.... Of course, if you're not on a diet, order the SPECIAL FRIES.... I told a couple orders of these down to the local hostel (they have a little bar) and boy did the staff and guest gobble them up in a heart beat... A meal in themselves, they are my favorite thing on the menu. To round things off, if you're not drinking cerveza they have real ice cream milk shakes. A cute hole in the wall that is. I ordered the chilaquiles with a fried egg, a coffee and a sandwich to go. There was an older senora that was cooking so I knew my food would be legit. There was also a juicer where the lady's daughter was feeding carrots, apples.... I was so happy with my food, I also picked up the bill for the students that sat behind me. I just told them they could pay me back by doing well in school. The total bill for 4 sanwiches, 1 chilaquiles, 1 alfajores, 1 coffee and 3 fresh juices was 180 peso. Which equals to 9 USD!!!! I gave them 200 pesos then called it a day! They were so kind.
