Fresh shawarmas/ falafel/ kebabs @mooringeats Bringing the Syrian food to you We loved the wrap! It wasn't overly stuffed or overly sauced so it made it easier to eat The owner was friendly and told us about how he started back home and wanted to do the same here We would have liked little bit more spicy and slightly more seasoned chicken. Also leave a google review and get fresh lentil soup on the house

Mooring Eats is a very popular place in the neighbourhood. I've given it a couple of tries because other people think it's great. To me, it's kind of dry. The potatoes in particular aren't great. The Shwarma was ok. There's better Shwarma to be had. Dry p

Shawarma plate is authentic and delicious and the wrap is perfect. The lemon sauce neutralizes the savory flavor and makes you feel fresh with every bite. The restaurant is clean and neat with enough space for sitting and eating inside, price is reasonable with such a good quality meal. Awesome!

Food was great, inside dining area was really clean and would be a nice place to eat, but we just chose to take the food to go. The guy at the front was nice and friendly, and the pricing is pretty cheap as well for what you get. Also we got a free baklava dessert for checking in on Yelp! Very happy :) Would definitely come here again!

Great experience! Called and it was ready in under ten minutes. Friendly staff, fresh and hot meal. And a good start spot to keep walking east, not to brag but I walked 20km after my meal... I was energized, ready to go Chicken shawarma TOP NOTCH, a definite return spot.

This Syrian spot with Middle Eastern Cuisine like shwarma, kebabs and shish tawook serves ridiculously moist and delicious wraps. Alot of the chain brand places for shwarma sometimes serve chicken dry but this place is fresh and so moist with their meats. If requested based on flavor, the kebabs are panfried to order and marinated in amazing sauces. A great choice and a nice nautical theme on the inside.

We found this place online and walked in, and ordered the fish and beef platters. As we sat outside, we met the owner who greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible, I'm willing to rate this the best shawerma in Toronto. The owner told us it's his family's recipe from Syria. We will be back!

I checked out mooring eats and they had some delicious Syrian food! On-top of that, they had a variety of non-meat options! Stuffed Grape Leaves - Vegetarian grape leaves stuffed with delicious soft rice and strong flavour. I've never had grape leaves, and as a first experience, this was great! There's so much flavour in the leaves, it comes off as sour but with the smooth rice, it was a good convo! Falafel wrap - The wrap contains falafel, hummus, pickles, tomato, and parsley. One thing I've noticed about their wraps is it's a bit smaller - which I love because I don't love it when my wraps are thick and chunky. The vegetables that were mixed with it was great combo and the falafels are so soft and yet crisp.

Wow wow wow!! I'll be honest I went in with low expectations as this location has turned over several businesses over the last few years but I really appreciate that they've made a big effort to make the place look great, and they did! It has a nautical theme which to me is a little weird for a shawarma place but it suits the area well being that it is literally about 50 steps from the lake. My wife and I were hungry and didn't feel like cooking so took a drive and saw that they had opened so decided to give them a try. We both went for the shawarma dinners which come with a choice of rice and choice of salad. We both opted for the lentil rice which looks like it has some fried onions throughout and so much test flavour. The chicken was super tender and the sauces and accompaniments were all delicious. The business is family run and we briefly chatted with the son who was working alongside his uncle and father. The father was kind enough to throw in some baklava for us also. Overall I am so glad this place has opened a few blocks from my house as this will be added into the regular rotation and this is now the best shawarma dinner I've had in Toronto.

This was so delicious. "Sticks" fries loaded with chicken shawarma and covered in a flavourful hot sauce. The fries were crispy and the chicken was delicious, the hot sauce wasn't too hot but had a lot of flavour. They have a great menu with lots of options including wraps, plates, falafels, shawarma, salads, dips And more!

There's been a lot of hype in my neighbourhood about this establishment, so I decided to finally give it a try. Note that I always write my restaurant reviews based on taste, quality, customer service and value for money. There were no customers during my visit and there was no menu to be found. I asked the polite young man (who was cooking) if they had beef shawarma. I thought he would say no because I only saw chicken shawarma on the spit. I went ahead and ordered a beef shawarma wrap, which I had to pay for first before receiving my food - odd but anyway ... the beef shawarma was not really beef shawarma but marinated beef strips that a man (in a cruise ship hat) prepared on the flattop. The toppings looked very fresh and the wrap was rolled meticulously. It was tasty but, again, not a real beef shawarma. My suggestion to the man that cooked the meat would be to ensure that the marinade was properly "dried" before putting it on the flattop. This caused the meat to be a saucy and, when mixed with tahini, the "brown" colour is very unappetizing. All in all, it was good but not really worth the $12. I'm going to deduct a star because the man in the cruise ship hat is who I believe to be owner, did not even acknowledge me - no hello, goodbye, thank you, nothing. This doesn't fare well in a small community.

The open fish market adds to the experience, and the drink selection is solid. Parking isn't the easiest (expect nearby office garages) but if you're there for a weekday dinner, they offer complimentary valet at the St. Regis, which helps. Service 5/5 Top tier. Staff are polished, attentive, and actually know the menu. Recommendations were on point, and everything felt seamless without being overbearing. It's the details that make it stand out, the attention to detail and the care when serving and presenting the food. Food 4.5/5 Went with the lunch menu (great value with an appetizer and main). Quality is consistent with what you'd expect from Milos: fresh, simple, and done properly. They're also mindful of time; if you mention you're on a tight schedule, they can accommodate a one-hour lunch without making it feel rushed. Had the salmon along with salmon tartare and the octopus. Good variety for the prix fixe lunch menu too. So far the best salmon tartare I've had in city.

If you're pressed for time, just let them know when you order - they'll plan to have you out within the hour, or they pick up the tab. I, on the other hand, was in no rush. The staff read the room, paced the meal accordingly, and let us linger comfortably. With four starters and eight mains to choose from (three with supplements), there's plenty of variety, though seafood clearly takes centre stage. I leaned fully into the sea and wasn't disappointed. The salmon tartare was surprisingly, with large chunks of fresh salmon tossed with herbs and finely minced red pepper, giving the dish a bright, meaty freshness. In the dead of winter, that first bite genuinely felt like sunshine - apologies for getting philosophical, but it really hit home. While crostini were scarce, every table receives a basket of freshly grilled bread and a wasteful pour of olive oil. Carb lovers don't worry, there's plenty to scoop up that tartare. The whole dorade royal grilled might sound exotic, but you've likely seen it elsewhere under its more familiar name: sea bream. At Milos, it arrives deboned and finished simply with olive oil, herbs, and capers. That said, if you're squeamish about bones, proceed with caution as the deboning accuracy seems to vary. My plate had only a couple stragglers, while my dining companion's fish had several lingering behind. The dish is simple, clean, and ideal for lunch, so it satisfies without tipping you into post-meal drowsiness. The steamed vegetables were overcooked, though that may appeal to those who prefer their cruciferous vegetables soft rather than crunchy. For anyone who wants to channel a bit of Don Draper energy without returning to work tipsy, Milos' 3oz lunch pours are a great idea. And if you decide to lean in just a little more, they can easily be doubled into a proper glass.

Honestly, I'm impressed every time I visit. Aside from the speed, price also plays a role. As far as quality goes, the food is great but it is fast food, so don't expect a Michelin-star restaurant. It was probably about 15 minutes between the time I ordered and when I got the food, so this is clearly not the place to go if you're in a rush. But I'd say the food was worth the wait. That cheese crust is the obvious star of the show here, while the fresh, soft bread is also quite delicious. The other components are tasty too, but the patty itself is the weakest link. It didn't have any kind of crust and just seemed a little on the bland side. But that's a minor complaint for a rather decadent lunch that I quite enjoyed eating.

Unfortunately, they don't allow you to switch your carbs to a salad, thus forcing you to pay an additional $3, for a salad and yogurt. That works out to be almost $20 with a soda... a bit pricey given this is more of a take-out fast food joint. The food is alright. Pretty average, typical Persian food.
