My immediate family has been using Lee and Conyers Imports for over two decades. They are fair,…read morehonest, and reliable. The owners are locals who want their name and reputation to mean something. I have taken 4 different cars to Conyers Imports over the years--they keep them running! I've sold a Camry with over 220k miles on it and they kept my 4Runner with 190k miles running like a well oiled machine. They have so much confidence in their own work that employees at C.I. have purchased our cars when we wanted to sell them--the same cars they had been working on for years, so they know that they did honest quality work on them. I don't think there is much more of a testament to an auto shop's quality when their own employees trust their families in cars they work on. Further, Lee has always been fair. When I wanted to buy a car, I could bring over 2 or 3 for inspections and he would charge me perhaps 1 hour of labor. You can't beat that. And unlike car dealerships or sketchy places, he would tell me what I needed to get done immediately, what I needed with a year, as well as what I could use but did not need to spend money on. I now live 3 states away, but I still call Conyers Imports whenever I have a car question. They are without a doubt the most honest mechanic shop I've ever encountered.

On July 12, 2025, I brought my vehicle in due to a loud humming noise coming from the front of the…read morecar at higher speeds. I initially suspected it might be related to the muffler or a loose panel, especially since the noise began after the county paved my street. Since it was also time for an oil change, I requested that the service advisor have the technician test-drive the vehicle to hear the noise firsthand and help identify the issue. Unfortunately, the technician did not drive the vehicle or investigate the noise during my visit. As a result, I waited several hours and only received an oil change--leaving the original issue unaddressed. Following this, I consulted a separate mechanic, who promptly identified the problem as a faulty front wheel bearing. I'm frustrated that the issue was overlooked during my initial visit despite clear communication. I'd appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and properly addressed.

This is truly an amazing repair shop. I have used them several times over the last few years and…read moretheir quality is superb. I typically go to the dealership for basic oil change and tire rotation because they are faster and have a better discount plan. After the dealership gives me a list of all of the repairs, I then take the list to Service 1st For service. Their prices are much more reasonable, and the service is always better than the dealership. I highly recommend them and have sent multiple people to them for repairs. The service advisor, Temara is very knowledgeable and patient. She gives detailed explanations of the work and the priority of the service needed. She uses Carfax for a service history and is able to give you a pricing plan so that you can prioritize your payments. Also Tamera has been extremely helpful, giving advice on used vehicles that I've purchased and it's service history. All women in particular should feel very confident with this repair shop. I would score them a five on problem solving, professionalism, and quality of work. Their address is 2258 Lithonia Industrial Blvd Lithonia GA 30058. (770) 484-4905

I've had my…read morecar in for oil level issues 3 times in the last couple months and as soon as I set off for a 4 month stint away from home (for a gig that requires mucho driving), the oil level issue returned! Luckily, my hotel is surrounded by mechanics galore and my intuition lead me straight to ASW for it's family-owned vibe. Do not be scared away by it's presentation. These guys are incredibly personable and passionate about what they do, not to mention the owner's involvement in the well-being of the city on whole - with numerous small businesses in town. I was encouraged to watch and understand the issue with my car and I left feeling empowered to take charge of my car's health in the future, without relying on the (often dishonest) assessments of mechanics. And the prices were SO reasonable and totally transparent. I will definitely be going back to them for anything else that needs doing before returning to my home in Savannah after this job and I really wish I could take them with me! Hell, I might even drive 3 hours to come see them in Conyers if it comes to that. Did I mentioned I'm filled with love and gratitude? I think you get the point. Over and out!
