The bagels are ok. I did get poppy with butter. It was incredibly salty. I thought it was the butter. Next week I purchased just plain bagels to take home. Toasted and took a bite. It was the bagel itself that was beyond salty. I have NEVER had a salty bagel (that wasn't a salt bagel). These are not for those that are concerned with salt intake. I wish they weren't though because this place is so close to my house. I guess I'll stick to Free World bagels. Hopefully they'll change the recipe to an old fashioned bagel and go easy on the salt one day. Hopefully! read more

This place is amazing. Not even amazing. Better than amazing. To provide a little bit of a story, my boyfriend lives in Tom's River, next to Lakewood - bagel and deli mecca. Of course he has his own little bagel place up there - fantastic. But I've been on the hunt for a bagel place down here. Of course I've found some pretty consistently good places in the area but nothing to really write home about. This place pretty much changed it for me. I step in, the owner (Pat?) is there and he's just so hospitable, opening, and welcoming. And there's Janine (sorry, I'm terrible with spelling names and I hope that's her name, she's really wonderful too). Now, this is my first visit in, I've seen the menu and I know that I want - The Chief. They ask me what bagel. "I don't know, what do you recommend?", Pat goes "sesame bagel". I try it, lightly toasted. Blew my god damn mind. The avocado wasn't that plastic texture that you sometimes get when it's not perfectly ripe, the tomatoes weren't smooshed, the lettuce wasn't a wilted mess and the turkey was.. actual turkey and not processed garbage. I know you're probably thinking "what type of sandwiches have you had?" But we go to so many sandwhich shops and they suck. Being honest. But let me tell you about the Chipotle mayo. I could live off of it. No sandwich I ever have from now on will not be eaten unless it has that Chipotle mayo on it. If you think I havent told my boyfriend about this sandwich to brag a little bit, you'd be wrong. Now, I come back the next day for breakfast. I'm an indecisive person, I don't know what type of bagel I want so I pick something really weird to test the rest of the bagels - peanut butter bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese. Who makes a peanut butter bagel? They do. And they nailed it. I don't know what they do, but I think I actually like peanut butter bagels now and it's so weird and wonderful at the same time. But I get another Chief, prepared the same way as before and even though my boyfriend lives an hour away, I went up there just to give him this sandwhich. I absolutely love Moore's! Everyone there is so sweet and friendly and the bagels sooooo good (try the asigo!) I also love how they do their iced coffee, self. served however they give you frozen coffee ice cubes so your coffee never gets watered down! read more

Great bagels and excellent service! This is where the old Plaza 70 bagels use to be. The new owner has beautifully renovated the store. There is counter seating around the perimeter of the store. There are not a ton of seats, but it is cozy and comfortable to eat in the store. I enjoyed my bagel and coffee and bought a dozen bagels to enjoy at home. The bagels are fresh an delicious! They make all the spreads themselves. I'm glad to have found this store and it will be my go to bagel place from now on. read more

So happy my sister and I found a good bagel spot! The bagel was delicious! Fluffy inside and a little crispy on the outside. I got an everything bagel with pork roll and cheese. It was sooo good. The owner was also nice enough to throw in a little container of cream cheese bc I couldn't decide btw pork roll or bagel with cream cheese. My sister ordered chicken fingers and they were amazing. This location was in dire need of a facelift after the previous owner and luckily it got just that. Gone is the attitude and in its place is genuine customer service which is very refreshing. A nice clean establishment where you're greeted upon entry and treated like a paying customer not an inconvenience that will only be acknowledged in full if you're one of his "regulars". This new owner is always in the mix behind the register whether he's taking orders, ringing up a customer, or directing traffic amongst his workers who are always hard at work. The bagels are good, I'm a big chicken salad fan so I'll make it a point to try that on my next trip in. Keep up the good work, you've got a customer in me for the foreseeable future. read more

The people running the shop were very friendly and made sure everything was satisfactory (it was beyond satisfactory).
