The layout of the barn is wonderful for a variety of events. The space upstairs and downstairs are both amazing. Lots of natural light due to all of the windows and lets a gentle breeze float through the barn. Simple elements such as willow trees and apple trees around the property, and an occasional chicken policing the grounds, make it all feel so natural. Laurie and Jason are wonderful genuine people who are have created a wonderful site for a variety of events; receptions ,weddings, corporate or family events. They were transparent and clear about the process, pricing, and space. They worked closely with all our vendors. Located just off of I-5, the Red Barn, has great parking, clean well maintained facilities and associated equipment (tables, chairs, etc.). Our guests and friends were all pleasantly were surprised and amazed that such a great space is located in Chehalis. From a price point the Red Barn is very economical and worth the price. We were paired with another twosome and they were fun to play with. It was a Saturday and I think the course was close to being full yet it didn't feel crowded. No long waits on the group in front of us. It was worth the drive and I'll play it again. The only downside was the golf carts. Our first cart (#8) had issues starting promptly and we exchanged it after about three holes. We loaded our things into #57 and started out again. It was initially slow to start also and we attributed that to perhaps the engine being cold and thought it would get. Unfortunately, it did not. After each stop, we needed to depress the accelerator for about 5+ seconds before the starter would engage. Once started, it ran fine but the delay leaving each tee-box, each subsequent shot and each green was definitely annoying. Here's hoping the carts were a fluke and we'll be back.

Vintage cars and trucks add to the venues character. The barn features two large sliding barn doors upstairs and down and feature antler handles. The concrete floors include stamped planks at the enterance of the barn and a compass rose greets guests just inside the door. Glass chandeliers and string lights line the ceiling beams and large log rounds and iron work form the railings leading to two grand staircases ending at the stage. A large prep kitchen complete with refrigeration and oven lead to an outdoor space for catering vendors. A large service bar, coat closet and plenty of storage are hidden throughout the venue. Tables and linens are included in the contract. Full hook-up camping and several chain hotels are within 30 miles in either direction of the venue. A beautiful location for a wedding, party or family gathering.
