On 1/20/26 I got mink extensions. This was the worst mink experience I've ever received. She kept getting glue and lashes in my eye. The lashes turned out terribly uneven, very hard glue and stiff. She had the nerve to charge me full price and immediately gave me a discount card for next service knowing I never come back. Do not recommend. read more

Do not recommend for Brazilian wax!! Painful!! No privacy. I was watched getting undressed and dressed. 0/10. The lady did not use any powder. I felt very uncomfortable. I got a facial here today. I requested the express facial, which was $35. One of the employees told me that the deep cleaning one was a better option. I asked if that facial was the one listed as $50+ on their price sheet. She said it's $70. They should really advertise the actual price. Anyway, I asked for the express facial. I guess I went in with high expectations. This place is not a professional spa and I did not have the experience expected. The lady used paper towels to dry my face. She also did not wrap my head with a towel to prevent the soap from getting in my hair or behind my ears. The room and equipment looked dirty. I won't be returning for a facial. read more

Ladies please I REPEAT do NOT come here for lashes and eyebrows even if it's to save a buck!!!!! Eyebrows can grow back but eye lashes can't. I let the owner do (the husband) my eye lashes and I had to take them off immediately that day, they were to heavy and apparently he had glued them on wrong. I literally had some rip off. So I didn't come back for two years and then I tried to give them a chance again two days ago I went back and I let them do my eyebrows. Well I am missing half my eyebrow! I should've checked here for reviews in addition to google. I'm recently moved to Montgomery and couldn't find anywhere to do my Brazilian that wasn't booked up. I'm no stranger to Brazilians but didn't feel like driving an hour to the nearest EWC. There weren't really any up to date reviews on google about this place and only one recent regarding Brazilians, the others mostly about lashes. Apparently the waxer Renee that everyone loved had left, but there we no complaints necessarily about the new staff and I was desperate for service. I was greeted and taken back immediately upon arrival. The room did not look clean. The girl seemed like this was only her second time doing it. No wipe down or powder to begin with. She continuously dipped the same stick in the wax. The wax was not hard wax, she used strips to get it off my skin. Took forever because she did small sections and had to keep going over and over. Had me to keep holding my skin, which is a lot combined with trying to keep it together from hair being ripped from my skin. Had me to lay on my stomach to wax my butt wax got all over my thigh. Use paper towel to rub oil on me. Charged me $55 and an additional $15 for the butt, "because of COVID" which was not mentioned initially. Makes no sense, especially for the lack of professionalism and sanitation. I didn't want to leave with half of a wax, argue, or make a scene so I just paid. I'll NEVER be back here!!!! read more

This place accommodate me right away which was nice. The lady who did my service was also very nice but I asked for a clean up and she made my eyebrows super thin. I specifically said numerous times please just clean up and she made my eyebrows way too thin. No one wears thin eyebrows. I'm so disappointed after great reviews. I will not return. read more

Like agonizing pain in and around your eyes? Get your eyelashes done here! I had "individual" lashes placed... however, individual lashes are glued to about 3-4 of your natural eyelashes so by the end of the day my eyelids swelled up because not only were my eyelashes all glued together so they couldn't flex naturally... but 90% of the lashes were also glued to my skin! Oh and did I mention that they used MASKING TAPE to tape down my lower lids..... I want my money back and I hope I can at least help one person not have to go through this by reading my review. read more

I spent months looking for a place that offered eyebrow threading in the Montgomery area. I was so pleased when a friend found Moon's Day Spa. I have been to Moon's Spa twice for eyebrow threading ($10 listed price) and have had two technicians. Both experiences were fantastic. I was in and out with no wait and the threading was immaculate. The first time I went to the spa I took a friend who had never tried threading before. She was nervous since she had heard stories of painful experiences. I've never had a painful experience with threading (other than one or two hairs that had deep roots - but nothing more than the feeling associated with individual plucking). She was pleased with the look of the eyebrow threading / shaping, the speed and ease of the process, and she said the experience was no more painful than individually plucking the hairs. According to their postcard, Moon's Day Spa is also located in Birmingham AL at the Brookwood Mall, Oxford AL at the Quintart Mall, and in Auburn AL at the Village Mall. Ever since renee left service and quality has gone down the hill and HORRIBLE, i have been coming here since they were near dillards when i went in they said renee is not there anymore. And i tried the older lady she said she does better than renee .i got lashes she poked my eye with the tweezers i still stayed patient and let her do her thing, she dint even say sorry.She made my eyebrows too thin and forced to get them tinted. When i was in the chair she said come to me from now so she will give me extra discount!! If they did there jobs right they dont have to offer discounts just to get custumer in. Renee was the best with what she did, she would never force or make you uncomfortable to do any service.when i went home my lashes started to itch and where lifting, when i came back they said its it's your fault. i have been getting them for years and i sleep on my side. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded here for almost a year. Today I went to get them done and they were completely butchered by an employee named Murad. The only reason I even knew his name was the receipt. I had requested to wait for Renee who was with a customer and I assumed when I was told to wait in a chair she would be coming over to me once she was done with them. Then when he came over I proceeded to let him do my eyebrows because I was on my lunch break and thought she was too busy. This was a mistake. I barely have any eyebrows now and he even literally cut of the end of my left one and cut patches into both trying to thin them. I have decently shaped eyebrows that aren't too thick or too thin on their own. The only reason I get them threaded is to have stray hairs removed. Which is what I told him that I only wanted removed. After this I will never be returning again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. But if you insist on going there I would only ask for Renee for eyebrow threading and leave if anyone else tries to insist you use them just because they want the tip over her. read more
