While you may be attended to by Karey, her husband, Roger, will be called in to actually measure you for a corset. I don't creep out easily, but this guy certainly did it for me. You feel like you need to shower after being measured, enough said. You will be assured that Roger is a Vollers trainer corsetiere, and has extensive knowledge of the product line and industry. Yeah, no. Now that you've been measured, and selected the corset you like, the fun begins. After taking your dough ($399 and up) and reassuring you that they will place the order straight away...they begin emailing several days later with what amounts to bait and switch tactics to a corset with a higher profit margin. Telling you there will be a $150 up charge for what you've already ordered, suggesting the only thing within the same price range is something other than what you tried on and asking for additional measurements. They have you believe that they are a Vollers corset dealer when, in fact, they are just reselling from a shop in Beverly , MA. If you ask to see the fabric selection, expect to see small swatches on Roger's laptop screen. Don't expect to browse the shop merchandise and lingerie. Roger hovers over you and you get the distinct feeling that he believes you will steal something (after just having paid him four hundred dollars) I did not need to know that the items on display were from the owner's private collection... "Oh the latex dress really helps to hide all your problem spots and it really isn't too hot HeeHee" Vollers is lovely to work with online and I promise you will have a much better experience. The visit to Roissy was hugely disappointing as I expected the experience to match the look and feel of their web site. On a good note, when confronted Karey immediately offered to cancel the order (had it even been placed?) and refund the money.

My husband felt very comfortable with the private appointment atmosphere versus a chain mall store. The selection is wonderful and the varying sizes from XS-3XL can accommodate pretty much everyone. Perhaps, only if you're seeking the smallest game on a very short trip. Is there really such a thing ever as having TOO much? Perhaps, there is no such a thing if you're a "responsible" prepper or an avid enthusiast seeking to advance yourself to handle just about ANY situation thrown your way - including the apocalypse. I definitely do not believe there is such a thing as having too much. And I can bet on it that most of the people here today at Kittery Trading Post feel the same way. Yes, the prices are mostly MSRP and sometimes higher. Yes, you can most likely (99% of the time) get a better deal elsewhere (especially online). But where can you actually have the opportunity to TOUCH everything or be likely seduced to WANT more because you weren't aware that such an item even existed? Here, at KTP, that is exactly what happens. You think you have a particular item in mind? How about being thrown more options that most other stores even dream of carrying? Thought you liked something online? How about holding that item in person and deciding if it is the right fit for just a fraction more of the price (and avoid the need to make returns for the most part?) How about being swayed into another product because you "apparently" didn't research it enough to realize there are even BETTER options that fit your exact needs (or because it's more expensive and you can justify it in person, lol)? Kittery Trading Post is definitely one of my ultimate retail spots as an outdoor enthusiast and an avid prepper (for whatever possible events will ever unfold in my fantasies). And every time I'm here, I always leave with at least one new toy for the personal arsenal. Definitely love this place even if it's not exactly the best bang for the buck.

This is a fun amusement park with rides for small children like going to a carnival- they have bumper carts and go carts. They have camel and pony rides for extra costs too! Upon entry we were a little confused as to where the action was, after speaking with the Butterfly lady we headed past the wetlands of ducks- we made it to the coolest part of the zoo! The MAINE attractions include monkeys, sloths, ostriches, reindeers, ravens, foxes, Kookaburras, zebras, lemurs, deer, geese, large blue pigeon, owls, Asian otter, Ankole cattle, chickens, goats, ducks, alligators, kangaroos, prairie dogs, and a lioness and tiger!! They have a butterfly kingdom filled with lovely plants and butterflies and a reptile area filled with tarantulas, snakes, frogs. Our favorite parts were feeding the birds for $2.50! What a fun experience! The birds were so friendly and loved eating from the popsicle stick with seeds! Then we were able to feed the goats, deer and ducks! The baby deer was SO CUTE and the animals are adorable and come right up to you. We were OVERJOYED that we had the ENTIRE zoo to ourselves cause it was raining but the monkeys were still going wild and howling! It was so much fun! Also Moxie is my favorite animal- she is three years old and is a beautiful Tiger. She sat right in front of us and was majestic to appreciate- she is a calm tiger. All the animals are taken care for and we are so glad we made the stop today! It was $18 per person and honestly had a blast. Great for visiting in the summer and early September as they close September 21! Next year they will have a Capybara! We also stopped by the gift shop and got some eco friendly Tiger and Giraffe totes for $5! Very affordable place perfect for young families and fun for children. We bought our tickets online making it easy to enter the park. As you come up to the entrance, to the right are the rides, snack bar and restrooms. We grabbed a snack before heading in, but you can bring your lunch if you want. There is a pretty clear trail to follow. The butterfly exhibit was wonderful, our kids loved hours the butterflies were flying around freely. Bird exhibit was fun and watch out for the goats of you go into the fenced area to feed them. They will overwhelm you as they know you have the food. A fun experience, especially for the little ones. They've do have a lioness and a tiger. We liked looking at the Texas longhorns. Those horns were over six feet long. Interesting to see. They do have another snack bar inside the zoo area if you decide to take a break there. They had camel and pony rides which the kids loved. A nice day visit for the family.
