The lovely person helping me cheerfully offered to go in the back and get another one of the same size and color to see if it made a difference, and sure enough, this second one was perfect! It fit great and I bought it. (I also picked up some other gifts for others, too). It's so nice when salespeople go the extra mile to help, especially when what you're asking for seems a little illogical (lol!) but it makes all the difference in the world! These range from shirts, ornaments, magnets, books, hats, stickers, and more! You can also purchase an official Lighthouse Passport here which is super fun. It's the same idea as the National Parks Passport, except for the US Lighthouses. Didn't know these existed so found that to be super cool. Spring hours currently are 10-5 but I assume come summer it'll be open longer. There are also restrooms here for public use. Shoutout to the lady working here when we stopped, didn't get her name but she was super helpful and gave me lots of information about the lighthouses!

Bells that once warned ships of the dangerous rocks near the coast are displayed in the park. Information about the lighthouse and diving is displayed on plaques and boards. The Welcome Center offers clean restroom facilities, plenty of lighthouse and lobster trinkets, sweatshirts and books to satisfy a souvenir fix. I picked up some post cards. The clerks are very friendly and helpful. There are a few stone benches in the park and lovely boulders to sit or stand. There is free parking that fills and you may have to be patient to get a spot. Pets are allowed. There is no charge to enter park, but donations are encouraged. The breeze is chilly so bring a jacket. If you're lighthouse hopping, Sohier Park is a must visit.
