Despite being there when door opened, the first patient wasn't seen until 8:27, so almost 30 minute wait to be seen. There was a note on the glass stating that there was an employee shortage, so there would be a wait. There was only one PA there and no X-ray tech. With all that being said, the employees were very friendly and professional. The PA that saw me for my knee injury was wonderful (Justin) and he didn't rush me and really explained my injury. I definitely recommend this office - be prepared that there may be a wait but the courteous and helpful staff was very much appreciated!

After my evaluation, I respectfully provided verbal feedback to the Physician Assistant while waiting for a copy of my treatment summary. During this time, I was unexpectedly approached by a man who identified himself as the 'Manager of Physician Practices.' He projected an immediately unapproachable and authoritarian attitude. He escorted me just a few feet away from the front desk to a semi-private area, where he began questioning me in a harsh, condescending tone. I felt intimidated and repeatedly asked him to return to his station and to leave me alone--requests he blatantly ignored. Without my consent, he took possession of my personal identification and medical documents, stating that he had the authority to make copies for his records, despite my lack of authorization. When I objected and asked for my treatment summary--a standard patient right--he refused. I attempted to rationalize this by mentioning "insurance fraud," which made no logical sense in the context. Instead of resolving the issue, he raised his voice, ordered me to leave the premises, and stated that my treatment statement would be mailed. This level of hostility and lack of professionalism is absolutely unacceptable, especially in a medical setting. Under fundamental Patient Rights, his behavior appears to violate the following standards: - Right to respectful and dignified treatment - Right to receive a complete explanation and copy of your treatment plan and discharge documents - Right to privacy and protection of personal health information (HIPAA) - Right to refuse any unauthorized use or copying of your personal documentation Regardless of his position or education (as advertised on his business card), his behavior was intimidating, unethical, and in clear violation of professional medical conduct. No one seeking medical attention should be treated with such disregard. I hope MedAccess leadership addresses this situation immediately. Until then, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this facility to anyone in need of respectful, secure, and professional urgent care. Respectfully, Proud U.S. Veteran | 30 Years of Military Service

Never examined my rash or felt around my stomach to figure out where exactly the pain was coming from. We did agree to do blood work, but she would not let me know which blood tests she wanted to order and the cost for each. She just wanted me to show up and have blood vials taken--could be 1-5 vials. Who knows! I said this was not acceptable and that I wanted to know what tests were going to be performed and the cost. They said they could only tell that to me the morning of the blood draw. I said, nope...I would like to know ahead of time so I have time to research each test and decide which ones make sense to me. They finally agreed they would call me in a few days with this information. They NEVER did!! They called, but it was to schedule my follow-up appointment for a few months from then. They also ordered some kind of sleep test for me without my approval, which of course I would then have to pay out-of-pocket. I immediately cancelled the sleep test with the company. This is a money-making racket! They clearly don't care about patient care and cost to the patient. I will NEVER return!! Lastly, the front desk people are grumpy and unfriendly, and the place is dirty. Yuck!

I've visited maybe four times in 10 years and I do have to say today's visit was much better than I remember previous visits. Front desk was upbeat and competent. I was called back without an appointment in under 10 minutes - granted I did go about 10 minutes after they opened so this may be key if you can get there early. There is an option to get an appointment online. The Nurse Practitioner seemed fully capable and helped me with my need. I like that there's a Harris Teeter close in case you do need a prescription. I felt informed of copays and billing. The waiting area was clean and orderly, parking was free and easy. I appreciated all aspects of my visit.

I would rather save my valuable time and pay to go somewhere else to save me the trouble .

The Wake Forest location came highly recommended to me as an urgent care that not only could do the examination, but could meet any medical needs. I now completely agree that this location is truly amazing. The staff were absolutely incredible, the facilities were new and fresh, and my visit was treated with respect and kindness. There really is not much more that you could ask for. This will certainly be the place that I go for any pop-up medical needs. 5 Urgently Caring Stars out of 5!

Waiting time is always better first thing in the morning but they do their best to get you in quickly, much better than the ER's waiting times. The doctors/nurses at MyCare are very kind people and make you feel comfortable. However, the front desk staff aren't the friendliest people the few times I've come in. Healthcare in this country is unreasonably expensive, and unfortunately, when I needed my ears checked and all that was needed to be done was to clean them out, my bill was over $200 after insurance. If the need arises, MyCare 365 is my preferred urgent care location, albeit the high healthcare prices.
