He worked tirelessly and for as long as it took to save Gray. He was deemed rescue only as a vicious dog. I don't believe the assessments that shelters do and I wanted this dog. It took 30 days to get him. Tony arranged transportation to Colorado, boarding at a great rate for the days he was out of the shelter, being neutered and health certificates readied. I don't think I would have this dog today if not for Tony. We have adopted through him 3 more times.

Not to mention saying she will adopt Kovu (Chevy) is a lie because she works for the rescue. A rescue in which consists of a small house and handfuls of dogs they receive from Texas. Our dog is happy and well and is living life at the fullest in the Rockies. How dare Lisa ask if we killed our dog in the mountains. (private massage-Hey Marcie, how about explaining the fact that you were told that level 1 & 2 full obedience training was required as a condition of adopting Chevy. That you were told unless we received proof of said training that this adoption would never be finalized. Chevy deserved far better than you as an adopter, he deserved better than a liar and someone playing victim as an owner. Did you get him killed ? Or did you loose him in the mountains to never return. How about providing proof of life instead of posting lies on a sight that obviously doesn't verify stories.) I would sort by their negative reviews both here and Google and let their negative reviews speak for themselves.

They are terrific people with a great organization. They were SO kind and patient. The dog we were interested in was currently being fostered in Roni's home. It was evident that this baby was being very well cared for! We were impressed with Lola's Rescue facility. It was clean, and so well equipped with every supply you could possibly need or want for a dog. We are so grateful to the people at Lola's. Their commitment to the fur babies that need to find their furever homes is outstanding!

Dear MAMR, On May of…read more2018, I adopted a little puppy named (at the time) Chi Chi Cher from the Moms and Mutts Rescue in Denver, CO. She was only 11 weeks old and full of excitement and life as most puppies are. MAMR did an outstanding job fostering her before I brought her home to be with my husband and I. We have no children. I renamed her, "Annie Oakley" as she was loaded with high energy and always packed a big hug to everyone. She was put through extensive training to become a "Service Dog" for my husband, as he had a massive heart attack and stroke. "Annie" changed our lives for the better, as she loved unconditionally and gave 100 percent of her love to us and many others. I would periodically take her with me to Wal-Mart to keep her maintenance up. She would have made a great greater at Church, as it was instilled in her to go up and love on everyone she saw, especially those in the military. When given a "Q", after meeting someone in service at W-Mart, she would sit and then give the sweetest "salute" over and over again, to thank them for serving. It made their day. There were several times, people would gather around and take video of her saluting and find out later it was on facebook or twitter. Today, "Annie" turns "8" year old and we hope and pray she will be with us for many more years to brighten everyones day with her loving attitude and unconditional love towards everyone. After years of being loyal customers with our 2 dogs, they couldn't care less. You lost thousands of dollars of future business by being selfish. Luckily, this forced us to find a different dog daycare and now my dog loves to go. He doesn't act scared or freaked out anymore. He's actually happy and excited to go to the new place. Their adoption fees are $150 to $175 and they cover the neutering and care the pet has received. They are not operating to make money. Susan and her volunteers travel all over to rescue animals who are at risk for being put down. Susan even travels to Mexico to pick up unwanted pets. The animals stay with Susan and volunteer foster families. It takes a lot of selflessness to take a pet into your house and give it love and take care of it and then send it off to a new family. I really appreciate Susan taking such good care of our new baby Luke. We have had him for about a month and he is already best pals with our other dog Leia. Yes...they are named Luke and Leia. Susan saves pets from the Dumb Friends League, which is a kill shelter. Don't go and buy a pet from a pet store where their future is secure, save a pet who really needs your love. You can contact them through their website and they also advertise on Craigslist.

The sessions became less and less frequent. In May 2025, he canceled our session. And we heard nothing from him until we called him and he told us he was in rehab. We paid Mr. Winkler $5500.00 in full in January and have received approx 5 training sessions of 30 -40 minutes at best. Travel is an issue as we live in mountains which he was aware of when we signed contract. I strongly caution anyone to not use this trainer. We are out $5500 plus $400.00 for a kennel that we bought from him which was too small for our dogs. We got one puppy trained at another facility for an additional $2500.00 and no refund from Elite K-9 Very poor business Operation.
