So disappointed. Been doing business with them for about 30 years…read more Called last week to let them know I had a bunch of brand new bathing suites. Lady said no problem bring them in when I got a chance as they could use them. I told her it's been a little while since I have been here do I need an appointment or could I just drop them off and pick-up any they didn't want. The lady said that would be fine so I just drove from Middleburg and a man came out said he was the owner. (In 30 years I've never dealt with him ever). He said if I dropped them off I Would NOT get back any he didn't want. So what kind of racket do they got going on is my question? 1st if they are new why would you want all of them and 2nd if you don't want them why wouldn't you return them? With them having more than one store how do we know they aren't taking the "unwanted" ones to another location to sell? Sounds shady!! Never again will I use them or refer someone to them. What a shame to throw away 30 years of business.

I had an absolutely horrible experience "selling" with kid to kid. First off the workers couldn't…read moreeven offer me a cart or to even open the door for me watching me struggle as I brought in several boxes literally large, moving boxes worth of things. They asked if everything was freshly laundered, and if all sets were together to which I confirmed, yes, and they were. The older lady who checked me in only told me a couple items she was not accepting, and then walked off the whole process was 100% unclear on what was being accepted versus what was being declined. I 100% understand that they can't buy everything and everything is based off of current inventory and what they can sell fast so I want to assure anybody reading this review that I am not mad about them not buying my stuff. But I am mad about is the fact they didn't make their process clear and couldn't even treat me a little bit of human decency. I would like to thank Ren and the tall young boy with wavy brown hair and light eyes who helped me out to my car with the stuff, considering I was recovering from Surgery and I was already spent in this Florida heat. Those were the only two individuals who even treated me like I was a human coming into that store versus some piece of trash just trying to get money for crack or something. What really annoys me the most about this whole experience is of course they only took my designer boutique items, but I understand why but they didn't even take the complete set. They only took certain parts of each set, leaving me with a bathing hat, but they took the bathing suit or they took the dress and left me with the bloomers. If you expect me to keep all the sets together, and I have to go through all this work to make sure everything's together then you better take the entire damn set and not just half of it. They also didn't keep the sets together on the items that they did not accept. I had to go through everything again and pair everything up. Do not expect me to have the professional courtesy to do these things and then you can't even be kind enough to do it back to me. If I were a firefighter I wouldn't step foot in this place, even if it were on fire because absolutely screw these people Also wanna say they charge outrageous prices for clothing that has been very well loved.

Indoor malls, especially ones this size, are becoming a rarity these days. The Avenues at Southside…read moreJAX has survived and seemingly endured through some tough years, such as the Covid period. Looking at the shops as I was walking through, I didn't see many stores that had closed down, though there were a few. It did lose Forever 21, one of its biggies, but it will be replaced in the not too distant future. The Avenues three pillars at this time are Belk, Dillards, and JC Penny. I came on a slower day during school time and it was a very pleasant visit. There are more than 150 shops and specialty outlets here (like two fantastic coffee kiosks!). Certainly far more than anyone can cover in a day. For me, I love the three sports shops here! Lids, Locker Room by Lids, and Palm Beach Autographs. I'm always guaranteed to make a visit in all three of these stores! Palm Beach Autographs sells sports paraphernalia you won't find at many other places in JAX. You'll find banners, pro and college football team pennants, helmets (large and small, many autographed), signs, and many other unique items for sports' enthusiasts. Lids is mainly a ball cap shop. I got my new Jaguars ball cap on this visit! It also provides stitching on ball caps - a unique feature found rarely in stores of this type. Locker Room by Lids provides all the Jacksonville Jags jerseys, ball caps, T-shirts, and other team player jerseys any fan could hope for. Lids at Town Center has closed. So now I'll make the trip here more often. Two other places I love are Le Crepes and now, Coffee Mood. Make sure you stop at these stellar coffee kiosks when you visit. I'll drift in to Van's, along with a few others. Of note, there are many similar clothing stores and plenty of places for cosmetics and clothing for women at this mall too. As for value, most of the stores here are reputable and things are priced higher than what you may get online. Of course, many shops offer deals, so even this can make visiting The Avenues worth it. Personally, I'm glad it's here, and as one fellow Yelper wrote, "I hope it lasts for another 20 years!" I agree Terron B! And I hope for even more! Recommend: HIGH
