It was dirty and extremely unorganized. It just looked like piles of trash everywhere.

This store is amazing when you think about a thrift store. It is organized clean and the owner is incredibly friendly. The employees are service oriented and will even bend over backwards to help you find what you're looking for. It's fun to go in and just search when you don't really have anything to search for and see what you come out with because you will definitely not go home empty-handed! Not only have I shopped here, but I have donated items that I no longer need there, too. On both sides of the business there is no difference as far as the help goes-- very gracious people , very polite, very willing to help, amazing hearts! read more

This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores and I would stop by regularly. But over the past year they have upped their prices so much, and the store is so crowded, you can barely walk through the store. They basically have antique store prices, definitely not thrift store prices. They also have stopped taking donations at times because they're so full. But it's because their prices are too high and nothing sells. Their employees are always kind, but they're always severely understaffed and half the time they can't answer your questions because they always need to call the owner first. This applies to BOTH locations. I would buy so much more from them if they had fair prices, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. read more

I love the purpose and how the funds go back to the community. But the prices are based on eBay sold listings. This sucks for those of us who used to depend on thrift stores to buy donated items at a discount. I understand selling things that you purchase for eBay prices. But when you are getting items donated (meaning for free) it seems unfair. read more

Will not return after trying to get a price for a pair of lamps for 6 months. The manager is extremely rude and is charging way too much money for a thrift store. $150 for a pair of lamps. I heard her say to another customer she just wanted to give me a price so Id leave her alone. Its a real shame because it used to be a great place. read more

Spectrum is a pretty nice thrift store. I spend many weekends in thrift stores thanks to my wife, and Spectrum is one of the better ones when it comes to cleanliness and organization; a store that actually organizes clothing by size. The staff here is really friendly and always helpful. The store has all sorts of things for everyone; from games to clothing to furniture to books to CDs to DVDs to shoes to household goods to a singing Homer Simpson doll to .... It's a little hidden off the road, so be careful turning in and out as traffic in the area can be bad sometimes; some people don't believe in speed limits. read more

This location in St. John's county off hwy 13, has been a thrift store for a church before and may still be affiliated with them but now their cause is to help and employ autistic individuals. This is not like Goodwill which pays their executive big salaries for free stuff donated... these people here are volunteering. I support true charities if I can and you never know what you'll find! Trying to get a work bench area for me in the garage we inquired into have something built but it was above our budget so my husband ( I suspect tired of me infringing on his work bench area..lol) decided to check a few thrift stores and found a desk he thought I could use but it was way to small though good, solid wood. BUT walking around the place I found a dining room table that would be perfect for my bench: right height, width and length, SOLID wood and half off so $25. We quickly walked thru the rest of the place but definitely need to come back and search a little more.. lots of good, interesting finds in here AND for a good cause! read more

Supports St. John's ESE classes with direct donations to the classes. Train and hire youth and young adults to prepare them for future jobs. This is a happy place to shop with nice, reasonably priced items and pleasant customer service! Donations are accepted during store hours every day and are tax deductible. This is my favorite thrift store and it's at a perfect location for families who live in Fruit Cove. It's super organized and clean and I always find something I love when I'm in there-- they have lots of variety. The staff is always helpful and nice! The owners of the store donate so much of their profit to charitable organizations, so I feel good about spending my money here. 10/10! read more
