Reggie Rush, Brandon Rivera and Jacob (Jake), for Moon Valley Nurseries, worked from consultation, design, negotiations, implementation of 2 impressive Palm trees, 12 vibrant Crepe Myrtles, a Fig Tree and 3 Arizona Yellow Bells into the late evening with thoroughness, constant communications along each step with what was needed, why and how. The installation proved to be challenging in this heat due to the hardness of the ground and its required placement. Throughout the process, Reggie was a concierge (sales/designer) both inside the store and outside when on his own accordance, he showed up on site during his "day-off" for the install. As an effective listener, he would remind me of what I had mentioned more often than what I could remember. Together with Maddie (office manager), they creatively offered a reasonable pricing and services with organization and clarity. Brandon contributed to overseeing the quality of the hard-working crew to deliver the correct planting and nutrition for the items. He shared his advice and knowledge and offered various options available that I was not aware at that point. Integrity showed up when he prepared 3 glasses of ice water for the crew. As the work continued, I saw how well they worked as a team ensuring success to each other as they carefully planted around the sprinkler's wiring. In the end, the company's management of the project was topped off from the Regional Director, "Jake", who worked diligently to resolve the challenge along the rock wall. His expertise of 10+ years added value to the newly installed, breathtaking landscape when he successfully resolved the challenge. He inspected and ensured from the top-down to the bottom-up that all expectations had been met with healthy placement of the plants and that a functioning yard continued its beauty and remained sustainable. All professionals were knowledgeable and answered questions in simple, direct terms and advised steps to maintain the Palms with warranty and the plants with hardiness. The value was a trusting, reasonably priced service from experts who work diligently and with a smile! Thank you, Moon Valley Nurseries, for employing individuals with integrity and high standards of workmanship, let alone that the process was efficient and with constant communications. read more

We were introduced to Moon Valley from a mailer sent out when they opened this summer. Earlier this year we finalized the replacement of the plants in our yard that had failed during the '21 February Freeze debacle. We used a landscape guy that had expanded and ended up with some plants that failed to make it through summer, despite the following the verbal instructions of the guys that planted them for us. We decided to give Moon Valley a shot and boy did we hit the jack pot! Please understand that these guys are offering plants that are grown locally, not from a nursey operation along the Gulf Coast. They start with plants that are grown in local soils, with local weather changes and everything is raised in the elements of North Texas - not a greenhouse. The plants from the start are "weatherized" and not plants that are going to go through shock once they leave the confines of a "hot house". We were able to choose the perfect mature plant to fill a gaping hole in our landscape, the crew that delivered it came within the service window offered, the team leader led a group of labors who actually cared enough to do a superior job installing the plant. In addition to the actual documentation offered at purchase on how to care for the plant at installation and through the coming seasons, the gentleman serving as the installation team leader answered all my questions regarding feeding, clarified watering schedules and in general offered the best post purchase experience that I have ever had. I have been making purchases from nurseries in Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Keller, North Richland Hills and Southlake since 1986, this has been the best experience that I have ever had working with a nursery. One final note, I actually lived behind Moon Valley in Grapevine from 1996 - 2001, purchased a number of plants from the former operator of the nursery there - not the same experience. read more

I highly recommend Moon Valley. My experience started with a phone conversation with Nathan - I expressed my strong desire for more shade front and back as well as privacy for our backyard. Nathan and Andrew came to my home and listened to my requests and put together a plan. My husband and I visited the nursery and were both completely blown away by the incredible stock of trees and shrubs they had - one look at the Teddy Bear Magnolias and we were sold. We just thought we were hooked until we saw the available Live Oaks and Cedar Elm - it was difficult to choose because they were all magnificent. My experience improved even more when the planting crew led by Dane arrived! These gentlemen worked so hard and were all eager to make sure I was pleased with each planting - I was and am! They did meticulous work and left our yard very clean and orderly. The quality assurance manager followed up and I felt I had multiple channels to use if I needed assistance in any way. My yard has had an incredible make over and when our next brutal summer hits I'll have a shady yard to help get through it. I am very happy with my entire experience with Moon Valley and highly recommend them! read more

I went to Moon Valley because I wanted some mature trees and bushes to give us a bit more privacy, but I got so much more! I had a landscape design from another company and Cy and Madeline were wonderful in working with us to find all of the plants we wanted and swap others that have worked even better than what I envisioned. We got a great deal on them and they have the best guarantee in the business. And then Dylan and his wonderful crew were super courteous and professional. They did a beautiful job planting our bushes and trees! They had to come back one more time because they didn't mulch a few bushes, which I hadn't noticed originally because I was so happy with the initial transformation, and I didn't realize how close two bushes were to each other, so they moved those two for me. The whole business at Grapevine went above and beyond to make sure we're happy with our end product and they are super sweet on the phone, and just plain helpful and awesome (shoutout to Alana, Dakota and Richard... you made me smile and feel at ease when I called y'all every time). I highly recommend them! I'll post more pictures in the spring when the trees bloom again. read more

A Plant-Lover's Dream Experience with Sara Brennan! I can't say enough wonderful things about Sara--she completely transformed my day! From the moment I walked into the store, her warmth and kindness set the tone. She didn't just help me pick out plants; she shared her deep knowledge and passion in a way that made everything feel exciting and easy to understand. Sara took the time to walk me through every detail--from how to care for each plant and tree to which soil conditioners and products would keep them thriving. She was patient, thorough, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt confident about my choices. What really stood out was her joy--it's clear she loves what she does, and that kind of energy is contagious. I left not only with beautiful plants but with a huge smile and a newfound confidence in caring for them. If every shopping experience had a Sara Brennan, the world would be a much greener and happier place. read more

Mario, Manuel, Willow, Marco, and Jorge did an outstanding job installing my trees. Kind, courteous and efficient. They cleaned up, put my hose back and closed the gate. A+ Service! Mario is such a great guy too. Easy to work with and he helped me call the office and solve a few things. Sara was AMAZING! If you want trees, call Sara! She is out of the Grapevine office. She is a passionate person that wants to do her very best for the customer. After taking a bit of time to find what we wanted and some mishaps along the way with someone else, one hour at her desk and we left happy. She exceeded our expectations! And finally Carlie was wonderful too. She listened to our cares and concerns and made it all come together. Thank you all. read more

Cy, I want to send a quick thank you to you and your team. My wife and I are very pleased with how this all worked out. From the moment I walked into your store and met you this has gone wonderfully. The selections you have and the fact that they are already adapted to this zone is a huge benefit to us and any other customers. From the moment we walked the property and started picking out plantings, discussing the flexibility of financing options, to the actual installation could not have been more successful. Even when a few minor changes had to be made, you and the team were very focused on our satisfaction. We could not be happier with the results. This will lead to more business from us and we are passing the word. Thanks agan, Rick Moore read more

This store is really neat! I walked up and was met with an associate named Adyson. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't know exactly what to expect and wasn't too sure what I wanted but he asked me some questions and gave me some guidance. All in all it was a great experience. I didn't wind up getting anything just yet because there were just too many good choices and I wanted to discuss the options with my husband. But I will definitely be getting my shrubs from there and possibly a tree or two! ( also some pretty good decorations that were decently priced!) read more

Moon Valley Grapevine had everything that I needed. I expected it to be a rough visit, considering the heat here in Texas, but Bryce Williams made it such a funny, easy trip for myself and family. Not only did he offer us water, and answered all of our questions. He gave us such a great tour, taught us about different trees, & was extremely knowledgeable about everything and the warranties. All locations need a BRYCE, he was absolutely wonderful. Thanks moon valley, we will be back soon. And we will refer friends & family. read more

I received a flyer in the mail from Moon Valley. It appeared they had an amazing selection, so I decided to stop by. Nate, who was a designer for the store, and his manager, Kyler, made this an amazing experience. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but they made everything easy! We ended up putting a mature tree in the front yard that looked like it came with the house. Plus we did a hedge in my back yard that came out fantastically! I'm ecstatic about my landscape now and I really appreciate everyone at Moon Valley who helped. read more

We had a tree delivered today and Sean and his crew did a great job. They were on time, they let us know when they were coming, they put the tree exactly where we wanted it and Sean was very helpful in talking with me about watering, etc. They are fine professionals. This is the second time we used Moon Valley; last summer they planted three trees for us and were excellent then too, which is why we came back. They really know what they're doing and they follow up. We will use them again and we highly recommend them. read more

I stopped in to look at some new trees for my yard, and Adyson greeted me right away. He was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the differences between each option. Thanks to his guidance, I'm leaning toward the Carolina cherry. The store also had some really nice yard decorations, and now I'm even contemplating adding a bush or two to the plan. Seems reasonably priced. I'll be bringing my husband back soon so we can review everything together and make a final decision. read more

Wow! We have been all around the DFW metroplex (literally 5 places) looking for the ideal fresh cut Christmas tree. This new location for Moon Valley Nurseries in the metroplex came to the rescue! The product quality - Xmas trees and other landscaping shrubs et al - are unparalleled to what I have found elsewhere. Not only left with a beautiful tree but an appointment to provide me a free quote on my landscaping needs! Thanks so much, Lydia, for your awesome service! read more

This place is AMAZING! Everyone is so kind and helpful! Richard Morace was so great! He helped us find the perfect Christmas tree and made sure we were set up for our other plants. My mom, daughter, and I all came to pick out a Christmas tree. They had so many activities for my daughter to do like a photo op area, hot cocoa station, and the cutest ornament making table! I had no idea they did all that but we will be coming back every Christmas and asking for Richard! read more

Excellent customer service. A slight misunderstanding caused a little hiccup a few days before the tree was delivered, but the team did everything they could to "make good." Very smooth process to grind the stump of my old tree and deliver and plant the new tree. I was kept informed throughout the process and all deadlines were met. Very patient and informative team, including Jay, Andrew, Layne and Clint. I highly recommend! read more

Mario and his crew are absolutely fantastic! They planted 11 large trees for me and also removed and replanted about a dozen others -- everything turned out beautifully. You can tell right away that they know their craft; they work with confidence, skill, and real pride in what they do. On top of that, they're friendly, respectful, and just great people to have around. You'll be lucky if they take on your landscaping project! read more

Once again Anthony came through for us. He helped us last time when we got our hydrangeas and gerber daisy's and this time helped us fill out the side out our house. We got a lantana tree, Peggy Martin rose, and rose of Sharyn. They also helped us replace our 2 dead carpet roses. Always such a fun time coming in and getting educated and getting wonderful customer service. Our whole yard is covered by moon valley read more

We went into Moon valley as a first time customer and Cole was great. He was very professional and did like a good Texan and made a proper introduction. He listened to what our needs are in what we were trying to accomplish for the backyard. He asked probing questions that lead to some plants we never considered. He was patient and helpful through the end. We will be back for our next landscape needs read more

I cannot say enough great things about this company. We contacted them about replacing some bushes, and they were so helpful and knowledgeable. The plants delivered looked healthy. Clint and his crew did a fantastic job digging up our old bushes and planting the new ones, and like everyone at Moon Nurseries, was so nice. We definitely will be doing more business with them in the future. read more
