Update*** Since posting my reviews I have been called twice and texted by this company. I was told that this was a Chinese massage and that's why I did not like the massage. No where does their listing or website say anything about doing Chinese massages. The website says "We offer a variety of services including Foot Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Swedish." There is no reason I should not have received decent back massage in 30 mins and reflexology massage in 30mins! They have been very unethical. Telling me that by purchasing a Groupon the therapist was not paid and that my review is causing her to be fired!! I am shocked at this companies business practices. I purchased a combination body and foot massage from groupon. Pressure was good, however there was little to no actually massaging. It was more of a hot oil rub down. I was taken to a room which included a massaging table and a chair. I was told to sit in the chair and was brought a bowl of water to soak my feet in. After soaking my feet, the massage therapist wipe them dry and told me to lay on the bed fully clothed. I was covered with a towel and she did a 30 minute reflexology massage. I was then told to disrobe and was only left with a tiny sheet that did not fully cover me. I get 1-2 massages a month and have never experienced anything close to this. I will not be going back.

I was surprised that she was interested in hearing any additional feedback/complaints that I had, and this already was a better start. It was clear that her intent wasn't only to help amend my situation, but additionally she wanted to ensure that my concerns were being addressed with the staff to avoid similar situations from happening to other customers. I was offered a complimentary service in lieu of the initial visit, and I am very glad I had the experience to try Woodhouse Littleton again. I was immediately greeted by a friendly woman at the front desk, shown where to put my items, given the correct size slippers, and was offered sparkling water while in the relaxation room. I was relaxed this time, and already slipping into a comfortable mindset prior to my treatment. Alicia, the spa director, introduced herself to me and verified that my check in process was pleasant. I appreciated Alicia's extra step of customer service as this truly made me feel like a valued customer. Jessica was my esthetician for my vitamin C facial, and I plan on coming back for more services from her! I felt like I was in safe hands as she acknowledged my skin concerns, reviewed my skin under the light before beginning any treatments, and discussed potential options with me that she felt were appropriate considering my skins condition. This was the most relaxing and effective facial I've ever received before. Jessica performed quick and non-painful extractions, checked in multiple times to make sure my eyes weren't being irritated by the light, and provided me with relevant recommendations for products. Someone give Jessica and Alicia a bonus because they're awesome! I recommend others to check out WH Littleton for their next spa occasion, I'll be back myself!

I got right in for my massage after changing into the robes and added a hot stone option. The updates to the relaxation room are improving with new, comfy benches and an overall more visually pleasing layout. They even have usable furniture outside now. They're continuing to update, I'm told, and I'm excited to go back and see the finished product. Big thanks to Alicia who got me back in to change my experience and Kristi, LMT who gave a great focused massage that was much needed.

I was greeted by the shop owner Lizzie and after talking to her and learning all about the process I booked an appointment to get my armpits sugared. Although I usually shave, I've had waxing done on this area a few times for different vacations and whatnot. I loved learning more about the process of sugaring, how it's generally less allergenic and is more gentle on the skin than waxing due to it only being made of 3 ingredients (sugar, water & lemon.) This type of hair removal will also last about 2 weeks (so great)! I love that Shug is so eco conscious and not only do they need to use less product but they also don't need strips or sticks for the process. Even the gloves they use are biodegradable which is amazing! While the process wasn't pain free, I think if you've ever been waxed before it's a very similar sensation, except I feel that the sensitivity and redness disappeared faster than when I've been waxed in the past. I would highly recommend trying out sugaring before your next vacation or even give it a try if you've been waxing but want to try something a bit more natural and more eco conscious in general. The boutique is so well thought out with every product being curated and hand picked by Lizzie herself. The overall vibe and feeling of this space is just immaculate from the moment you walk into the door, to all the knowledge and care you receive throughout the service all the way to the products you can get to take home with you after the service. I will definitely be back to Shug and would recommend anyone I know to try out this service at Shug as well!

They really understand the power of a great hairstyle in boosting your confidence and overall look. I hate when you hop in a chair and the first thing they do is ask for a photo. Yes that's a great starting point, but I like that I feel as if my hair is tailored to me and my style. Shy and Karmen really listen to their clients and they provide you with everything you'd need to not only achieve your hair goals but maintain. When I said I wanted to go copper we talked about what that would look like for me and trialed a couple different shades before finding what fit best. I think what's sets them apart from other hair dressers I've had is they remember details about you as a person which make all the difference in your experience at the salon. You're asked to arrive 30 minutes early, and we sat around the entire 30 minutes, then finally they walked us through the how-to of it all. the staff is really friendly and the place is clean and well appointed. it was a nice experience, but very indulgent. i don't believe the price is worth it, esp at $1/ounce on the beer & the 90-minute time limit in the room, when one wants to bounce around from sauna to cold shower to hot tub (not necessarily in that order), etc. plus time for dressing and undressing. the anti-gravity massage chairs are also an extra add-on, which i find a bit extreme. overall, we enjoyed ourselves and disappearing from the outside world was rather nice, but it's definitely a one-off, or an annual experience at best. Checking out was equally slow. The host was giving a lady a demonstration on the beer bar and he could have kindly asked to be excused to check us out, but instead he let us sit for over 15 minutes as he gave the gal samples.

As lovely as the common area and patio are, it belies the relaxation that awaits in your private spa room. Before you are escorted to your room, you are offered your choice of locally made beer (My favorite was the "beer flavored beer", which tasted like.... Beer), as well as wine, kombucha, juice, or seltzer water. The drinks are served in a stainless steel insulated tumbler so you don't have to worry about breaks or spills. There are also complimentary snacks available including banana chips and an absolutely delicious savory trail mix. There's also a bathtub full of plastic "bubbles" (think 'grown-up ball pit', but a bathtub) in the common area which invites you to take your most Instagrammable shot. The spa even has a monthly competition for the best photo submission. I appreciate the intentionality with which this spa was designed. Truly they thought of (almost) everything: Hair ties, shower caps, hair dryers, plastic bags for wet clothes, their beer infused shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion offered both in the private room as well as in the common areas, a pitcher of water on the edge of the tub (Because one cannot live off of beer alone).... Even conversation cards containing thought provoking questions placed strategically throughout the facility (Even in your private infrared spa). This is not just an opportunity to relax, but to deepen connection. I came here with one of my friends and in addition to feeling infinitely more relaxed, I left here feeling like my friend and I got to know each other on a much more substantive and meaningful level as a result of this experience. Now before you ask... No, you are not soaking in a tub full of beer. (That was my initial concern, and I almost passed on visiting this spa because of said concern). Instead, you are soaking in a deep stainless steel soaking tub that is full of water and infused with your choice of herbs and aromatics. The room also comes with a CBD infused bath bomb, as well as a CBD and mushroom infused mud mask for extra relaxation and detoxification. The water temperature was absolutely perfect: Nice and steamy but not too hot. The soaking experience was simply not long enough... Which is not a slight to the staff or the facility at all. Just a testament to how relaxing the experience is. I could have stayed there soaking all day without a care in the world. Once we reached the end of our soaking experience, the tub started to automatically drain on its own. We used that time to shower, moisturize, and proceed to the next part of our spa experience... The massage room. The room is dark with small twinkling lights on the ceiling that kinda look like stars and the night sky. There are several zero-gravity massage chairs in the room, but do not be mistaken... These are NOT your run-of-the-mill nail salon pedicure spa chairs. These massage chairs mean business! Even on the lowest setting, my muscles were still sore for several days afterwards because that kneading function gets all up in those muscle fibers. Several times I found myself breathing through the massage like I was having contractions... Especially as those rollers made repeated passes over my lower back. It was definitely the most thorough and intense chair massage I have ever received. Each of the staff members we encountered was absolutely wonderful; Friendly and welcoming, answered all of our questions, gave us plenty of time to take pictures and video to capture the moment and really make the most of the spa experience. Our drinks were never empty and our every need was provided for. The only piece of feedback I have to offer is that it would be great if there were swimsuit dryer spinner on site. I was flying back home immediately after my spa experience and I had to bring my sopping wet swimsuit back with me. I double bagged it to make sure it didn't leak all over the place, but it would have been great to dry it out a bit before putting it back in my suitcase. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's likely the most unique spa experience you will ever have... Even if you are not a beer enthusiast.

When I changed my mind about my hair before the wedding, Ray was so on it and flexible and gave me exactly what I wanted with minimum guidance from an overwhelmed me (volume and romantic curls). All of my bridesmaids agree that it's the best we've ever looked, and since we're in our late thirties we've been in a lot of weddings. From communication to their delightful bedside manner, these women are incredibly talented and skilled. They were prompt and efficient, finishing before schedule. Not to mention Amanda was very pregnant on her feet all day and did not complain once, in fact she seemed to be enjoying herself--a true superhero!
